I came to this campsite with my family as a child so it means a lot to me. I have now started comign back. The site has everything you need in a campsite. Showers, toilets, washroom for dihes and even a Dog Wash so you cvan bath your pooch. People moan about showers being muddy etc. Can I just say... More

Great campsite, we have been twice during the quieter times, however, it is basic camping, no frills, no fuss, no electric, no kids playground, no shop! All you have is a toilet block. The toilet blocks could do with a refurb. I didn't like the fact I had to sit on the toilet and read obscene and disgusting graffiti relating... More

Stayed with 2 friends on motorbikes in the backpackers field. Great prices, especially as we stayed midweek, and lovely spot to stay, there was only 2 others in the whole field. Looking forward to getting back down there, and showing the kids the New Forest

Site is in a nice location set in nice surroundings, however facilities are very limited and overpriced for what you get. Biggest gripe was on our first night we got a royal telling off for using our BBQ past 10pm, a polite 'sorry you can't have BBQ's after 10pm would have sufficed' instead we treated as though we were a... The campsite location was easy to get to in a car and on the edge of the forest which was really pretty. There are free-roaming ponies and cows on the campsite which I loved but might bother some. The staff and facilities were the reason for giving it a poor rating. We had various family members arriving at different times... More

Stayed in the Roundhil campsite for a couple of times now. Compared to other sites in the area the open space makes camping quite windy, but being on the edge of the forest, overlooking the heath makes it a wonderful spot. The facilities are below par and should be upgraded to meet normal standards.

I stayed here for the long bank holiday weekend, the site was full but it still appeared quite spacious in places. We had a group on the Rally field which was great as we could all easily camp together and were separated from the main camping area which made it nicely sheltered and we didn't make too much noise for... We stayed at roundhill in the final weekend in July as backpackers. We were welcomed by very friendly staff who spent time to explain the campsite and where the best places for us to pitch were, along with a map of the site and the local area. The site facilities were clean and never too crowded. We enjoyed being in... More

We stayed at Roundhill for 4 nights this week, choosing it because we wanted a simple campsite which allowed dogs. On arrival, staff were friendly and checked us in fine. What we didn't expect was the extra £20 parking charge for a second car. We didn't see this displayed on the website so watch out for this! - even if... More

This isn't a place to stay if you're not a fan of wild horses and cows as they roam freely on the campsite. We had two horses come in our tent and started eating our breakfast, we weren't too bothered but I imagine ot could be scary for those who are not horse fans. The toilet and shower blocks were...
