On arrival was surprised to find out I had to pay an additional £5 per night as we had two cars (we need two cars as we have a dog and he travels in my boot leaving less space for our tent etc. This should be made clearer on the website The site is really stunning with wild horses and... More

Open heathland camping amongst the ponies, donkeys and cows! Beautiful walks and cycle tracks plus only a short distance from Brockenhurst/lyndhurst. Basic facilities. Toilets/showers not cleaned regularly despite the campsite being full. They were quite filthy and the camp site must have made a small fortune over a bank holiday weekend. Enough to pay a few hours extra for a... More

Spent a weekend with friends at the campsite camping. The welcoming staff at the gates were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of space to pitch. The showers and toilets were clean however when it rains it leaves a massive puddle right outside the ladies entrance which is really hard to get round. (It maybe a small thing but is... More

We choose to stay here as our 1st camping experience and were so glad we did. We turned and was greeted by lovely friendly staff, who explained everything we needed to know as if was our 1st time. Being the summer holidays, I was surprised at how easy it was choose a place to pitch, as there where so many... More

I stayed here for a night only the place is huge and nice, the staff very friendly. I didn't use the toilets so can't comment and around that. It was a good experience for me and slept wonderfully. Lots of families with kids running around.

This is a great little campsite. Very peaceful and good clean facilities. Found this to be in a great location. Having the electric hook-up was a great addition having two teenagers in tow. As always we made a number of trips to the Snakecatcher, the burger is still one of the best we've had anywhere! Brockenhurst is beautiful and seeing... More

Arrived early afternoon and plenty of good pitches and your left to find your own spot that best suits your party and left to enjoy the area of outstanding beauty with easy access to Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Lymington, and Hythe. Hatchet Pond is well worth a visit and lots of place to eat locally. The facilities are somewhat basic but fit... More

We've camped at Roundhill many times, both in tents and caravans. It's an ideal family site. I'd like electric hook-up, but apart from that, no other amenities would enhance the site, and features such as shops, amusements etc. would detract from its appeal. We last visited three years ago, and I did notice a deterioration in a couple of aspects... More

I've just returned from a 2 night stay at Roundhills. What a great site this is, it's very large and unlike many sites you actually feel your camping in the forest. Your allowed to pitch up wherever you want (in allocated areas) and I think this is brilliant. It's so much better than just being given an allocated spot. They... More

We booked to stay here with our friends for a weekend. Site staff were friendly and helpful, actual camping area is perfect. You choose your own spot, it was fully booked but PLENTY of space. Ponies, cows and donkeys all wondering around (plus idiots feeding them then getting angry with them when they wouldn't move away... ) Wasn't too quiet... More
