Great location, about a 2 minute walk from the station, and right across the road to a pub. The rooms have a very quaint and vintage feel to them (Like your nan's house) but very clean and with a modern bathroom. Home made meats, cheese and bread for breakfast was fantastic, and afternoon tea every day was a welcome treat... More

This B&B was lovely - spacious comfy room, nice shower and delicious breakfasts (and afternoon tea!!). Tracy was a great hostess, helping us decide what to do each day and telling us all about the New Forest. Thank you Tracy - we will definitely return!

Tracy accepted me and my dog at late notice and put us in my choice of room. The Ducking Stool was spacious yet cosy, with an excellent shower and really good double glazing cutting out all sound from the nearby railway works. I slept extremely well and awoke feeling very much at home. On hearing I was expecting friends to... More

Fab little find in a lovely part of the World. A warm friendly welcome, scrumptious breakfasts, topped off with home made cakes for afternoon area. A real home from home. Tracy wasn't there on my arrival but she had contacted me a couple of days before the visit providing me with full instructions of which room we were in, where... More

We had a lovely stay at the Blacksmith's House this weekend. We especially appreciated all the nice advice we received from Tracey that mad all the difference to our holiday. Breakfast was outstanding, we really appreciate the non- fryup option and especially Tracey’s homemade bread was excellent. The room itself was nice, the bed very comfortable and the cleanliness nearly... More

We spent a fabulous weekend here for my birthday. It's a warm and welcoming place and we were made feel very much at home. Our room was comfortable and clean and at the back of the house. And breakfast was a refreshing and healthy alternative to a fry-up, with cheese, salmon, eggs, cold meat etc. Not to mention home made... More

I stayed just one night at the Blacksmith's House as I was attending a wedding at a venue in the area. The Bkacksmith's was just perfect...I was in the Mary Queen of Scots room which was very comfortable and had a lovely roll top bath, which ft very decadent. My friend was in the Red Lion room which was very... More

Simple house in the high street you could pass without noticing but you would have missed a treat. Good accommodation clean bright and fresh. For a high street location it was also pleasingly quiet. IWW had the best breakfast I have ever had in a B&B. Owner was there with home made bread and making drop scones for dinners while... More

This is a lovely house with lots of little touches to make it a perfect stay. We were looked after very well by the owner Tracey. Afternoon tea is available every day with fresh milk left in the guest fridge. The breakfast was wonderful, cereals, fresh fruits and yogurts, home made bread, fresh eggs from Tracey's hens, cheese and ham... More

We and a group of friends stayed at Blacksmiths House for a 60th birthday celebration weekend. Good accommodation, great food. Tracey (the owner) made every effort for a perfect stay and nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming. Great venue for a whole house booking
