We spent a night here during a recent trip. The location is beautiful, with a really nice cliff walk accessible across the road. The room however was very small, with possibly the smallest bathroom I've ever been in. I'm guessing the bathrooms were retrofitted to the rooms at some stage.

We stayed here for one night as part of a short break down to Devon and Cornwall, I wanted to try at least one independent hotel as we normally elect to stay at chains, especially in Cornwall, as its very hard to find a decent and affordable place to stay down there. Anyway first of all the location is excellent,... More

It was awful to dine and the food was low standard, not very hygienic in the restaurant and the manner of the staff was awful to my friends and family which I was very angry about. Talking about the way my family look. The service was poor and very long to get food. Also my room was the most smallest... More

The owners in this hotel made the stay really excellent, they showed an interest in what we were doing and offered useful advice. When we arrived there were lots of diners arriving from outside the hotel (the food is very good!) but they made sure we still got a good table, so all round we felt very welcome. The location... We stayed for just one night earlier this month, while viewing properties to buy in the local area. The Hotel manager was in reception when we arrived and also first thing following morning. A very friendly, helpful man, full of information about the local area! The bed was amazingly comfortable! The room was clean and tidy and also included a... More

We had a small loft room but was perfect for us,very comfortable beds and immaculately clean. The Elements hotel and bar/brasserie is set high on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Cornwall coastline. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place was bright and airy and had a lovely coastal feel to it. Our room was quite small, but cosy and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. A PlayStation 2 with various games and DVDs available make... More

We stayed here overnight as a family of 4. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, the hotel has a fantastic position over looking the water. Sunset viewed from the restaurant was beautiful. We ate in the restaurant, the food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The menu suited us well as we all love Italian food. We stayed in... More

Stayed for three nights and was great quality and value. Location was perfect for walking into Bude or Widemouth along the coastal paths and quality of rooms and food was excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff as well. Only improvement I'd make would be to get a Cornish Ale on tap! Otherwise perfect for a Cornish getaway :)

This is a really lovely restaurant! The food was gorgeous and the staff really welcoming and friendly. To top it off the view and surroundings are beautiful. We have visited twice, once for an evening meal and then again for my sister's wedding blessing. Both times were great. It makes a fantastic venue for a wedding or celebration, especially on... More
