We just came back from two nights at Bangors and as we wrote in the visitor's book...beautiful location, gorgeous rooms, wonderful hosts and amazing food! Everything is organic or wild - we ate their one night - £25 for three courses and was truly outstanding value for money - to eat the same quality and freshness (75% of the food... More

Well, what can you say? We stayed 3 nights and had a superb time. Neil and Gill are great hosts, very friendly, welcoming and entertaining and made us feel very much at home without being over attentive! They are really dedicated to living a low carbon life and this shines through in everything they do, from the organic food they... More

My husband and I spent a lovely four night break at Bangors Organic in Bude this July. We received a very warm welcome from Neil and Gill, our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The surrounding countryside was really special and it's in range of lots of fantastic Devon/Cornwall locations including many you can hike to direct from the B&B... More

This was the best B & B we've ever stayed in. We were in the Stable Suite and it was absolutely beautiful - modern, spacious, spotlessly clean, bath & shower, large TV & DVD, fridge etc. Couldn't fault it. Neil & Gill's house is lovely, William Morris decor, stripped floors, eclectic selection of paintings, elegant furniture. Enthusiastic host Neil is... More

A really great value ethical choice. A sustainable, organic holiday, where your conscience will be clear and your tummy happy. Lovely simple fresh food, with all produce home grown, the veg tastes fab!, order some to take home. The rooms are lovely with loads of space, very good value. A very impressive range of choices for breakfast, in such a... More

I slept like a log - Katie did not. Which is a genuinely very unfortunate because everything else about this B&B is great. So city folks and good sleepers should definitely book while light sleepers may need to invest in ear plugs first. We stayed in one of the stable suites, it was clean airy and comfortable with a good... More

Gill is an amazing cook, and Neil is the perfect host. We stayed in the coach house which was lovely (may not be available in the future) however, Gill and Neil were kind enough to sow us round the rooms in the house, clearly a lot of hard work and careful thought to detail have gone into these luxurious rooms.... We were staying in Bude but decided to dine here having read about it on the internet. Neil is an amazing host making everyone feel welcome. There were just eight of us on four tables and by the end of the evening we were all chatting to each other encouraged by Neil. The food was just wonderful! Duck reared on... More

This is a best-in-breed experience. As someone concerned about green issues, it is nice to come across somewhere where the proprietors care passionately about what they are doing (but don't preach!) and give a fabulous value for money experience. The room was immaculate and the food was genuinely tasty. It is difficult to find a comparable experience anywhere in this... More

After trekking through Bodmin Moors looking for stone circles, we stayed Saturday night at Bangors and loved it! The farm house was totally refurbished with wooden floors, double glazed windows and island bath tubs! We had a room by the road which we expected to be noisy but was absolutely fine. Bed was very comfortable with extremely clean and soft... More
