This campsite is really bad. The fields are sloping, so no flat places to pitch a tent. The grass had not been cut, the ground was full of lumps so uncomfortable to sleep on. There was dog mess on the ground. I stayed 2 nights (as part of a pre-booked group) and the water for the showers was always cold.... More

We chose this camp because of its family-friendly marketing and the added plus that it bore the Eco label. Plus points were: animals (our toddler loved them!), nice locality, quiet post 9pm, lots of other family campers. Negatives were: cold showers and queues (not geared to support several hundred people), substantial slopes (no flat pitches available!) no clear demarcation of... More

I came to Cerenety for a few days. It is situated in Bude, which is quite a nice area to walk around, especially the cliffs. It's quite peaceful and the staff members are always present to answer questions and to help. It has been a really nice experience and I will surely come back soon.

I fell in love with cerenety as soon as I arrived, a very basic but quirky campsite, and the volunteers are very warm and welcoming and all the unique feature help you get in touch with nature. Also love that they allow and even promote campfires. All in all one very happy camper :)

I spent a long weekend away here with a bunch of friends and we had a brilliant time. If you like your camping back to basics and near a beach - it's a good bet. Positives: The owners are very friendly and all to happy to chat and give advice about the local area. They encouraged us to meet the... More

We booked in advance and were looking forward to experiencing the ethos but were disappointed that we were not able to. We had great difficulty finding it in the first place and drove around narrow lanes for ages. When we eventually did so and went through the gate we found ourselves at the top of a sloping muddy field. There... More

We visited Cerenety campsite for the first time in May 2015 with 2 children aged 11 and 7. We cannot rate the site highly enough! We had a lovely warm welcome and soon got used to the rustic facilities. The children loved the compost toilets, which were always cleaned

I came to Cerenety as a solo camper stayed for one week, leaving feeling enriched by all the people and experiences that come along with a place like this. Cerenety is many things to many different people, to some a weekend retreat, to others a place to rest their head after surfing all day, to me it is a safe... More

Very disappointed with the "facilities" on this site. On asking directions from a neighbour they said "rather you than me" and it turned out right. Reception seemed to be wherever Celii was wandering about. We were asked to pay up front £18 for one night for a two berth tent - more than twice what is the going rate. I... More

Dear Mr Mead, first of all, thank you for taking the time to review us on tripadvisor and I'm so sorry that your stay was not what you expected. I was sincerely surprised by your review as I have been approached by so many of our campers this week to thank me and say what an incredible camp site we... More

We recently stayed at Cerenety and had a fabulous week. The campsite is basic but that's fine for us. The site was on a small incline, which meant we had quite close neighbours on e flatter area at the top of the field. There was no restriction about how close other campers could get, one of our neighbours had their... More
