We stayed here for 2 nights. Location is great and we had some very enjoyable walks in the area. Very keenly priced, breakfasts were good and bed comfortable. This is a beautiful house but could do with some tender loving care. A little upgrading and the proprietors could justifiably charge alot more. Also, wifi didnt work for most of our... More

We very happy to be able to taste some "typical" Scottish dishes (Haggis, trout,..) and beer in this cosy place. Price/quality was ok and the service was excellent. They even have a whisky library....

We have just returned from an overnight stay. This is a small and friendly B&B with very good service for a reasonable price. The room was bright, cosy and clean, nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. A small bar (used by locals) and a small dining area. We didn't dine here so cannot comment on the food, but the... We are 2 couples and his was the first night stay of our 7 day highland trip. We had prebooked this Inn prior to our departure. Our very first impression was how cold the bedrooms were. We were lucky to have an electric heater in our bedroom, but it did 'spark' and we had to turn it off. We did... More

After managing to get rid of the kids for a couple of days, we thought a couple of nights away was definitely in order! We were after somewhere we could relax and we found it here! Lovely room, very comfy bed, delicious food and a very warm welcome. The pub quiz was great fun (even more so because we won)... More

Excellent small hotel 2mintes from village centre. Dinner at night was a treat and inexpensive . Breakfast menu was simply amazing. All staff ( family run) were very friendly and helpful . Location very central yet a great view from front bedrooms ( king size beds) No road noise , overall a great wee hotel at a reasonable price.

We headed to Callander with the hopes of seeing the 2015 eclipse. The hotel was a lovely surprise. A lovely informal welcome and shown to our huge room. There are currently only 4 letting rooms, but they hadn't scrimped on the quality of room. The double aspect room on was bright and cosy. The bathroom was a bit cold as... More

We only had one night there, but we could have stayed quite a bit longer as the place was very comfortable and of a very good standard. We were going to go out for an evening meal, but when sitting in the cosy bar we caught sight of some of the food going into the dining room. We decided to... More
