Arrived on the Wednesday 30th dec made welcome straight away very friendly, there was a band on the Wednesday night which were brilliant every one joined in. The meals were lovely especially the breakfast. Tim and Jane are brilliant hosts. My husband and I will definitely be going back

A wee girls night out to celebrate the impending festive chaos. Booked and pre ordered off the set menu. Prawn cocktails and pate all round, prawns were a bit tasteless and the general consensus was more oatcakes for the pate would have been good. The fish and chip main course looked amazing but the roast beef was a bit bland,... More

We have only good things to say about this place. From the warm welcome received on arrival to the kind words on departure. The room was lovely and warm with views over open countryside, and the food was delicious. Staff was polite and talkative which makes a change. And our cavapoo ruby was welcomed as well, all in all we... More

Couple frpm Glasgow on a wee over-nighter. Stayed elsewhere but booked the Old Rectory for dinner as we had eaten there before. Loved it the first time and we were not disappointed this time. The food was amazang - I highly recommend the tasting platter - absolutely delicious and such value for money. Worth a run to Callendar just to... More

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly during our visit. We especially enjoyed the music on Wednesday night. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was delicious. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, and our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. We're definitely looking forward to a longer visit in the future!

6 of us stayed at The Old Rectory for 2 nights. We got a warm welcome and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great craic in the bar with the locals. Great breakfasts and evening meals. Wanted to stay a third night but they were booked out. This was our second stay and we'll be back. Thank you.

Me and my partner visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Callander, we were greeted by a really pleasant man who could not do enough for us. We were presented two large portions of food - delicious and well cooked! It was one of the best meals we had eaten all week! Highly recommend this sweet little place in the... More

Dropped in here for one drink and ended up staying for a good few. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the bar area is nice and cosy. Met a few other holidaymakers who also commented on the welcoming atmosphere. Didn't stay here but seemed popular for overnight stays.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Location is great and we had some very enjoyable walks in the area. Very keenly priced, breakfasts were good and bed comfortable. This is a beautiful house but could do with some tender loving care. A little upgrading and the proprietors could justifiably charge alot more. Also, wifi didnt work for most of our... More
