My wife and I went to the Callander Meadows for dinner as part of a 2 night stay in the area (we did not stay at the hotel). The restaurant was informal but cosy. The food was delicious. The low amount of people that evening meant that we could have quick chats with the lady of the house, who was... More

This is a very small hotel. But big on service. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was excellent (no2) with a very snug four poster king size bed. The breakfast were to die for. All produced to order from fresh ingredients.

Really enjoyed our stay here, we had a lovely big room, very comfortable bed and great service from the owners. The location right in the middle of Callander was perfect and it was very easy to find. Would definitely come back here again

We stayed here for a couple of days, the food was excellent but we thought the accommodation was overpriced. The location is superb as it's right on the high street so easy to find. The entrance to the car park is very tight, we needed to pull in our wing mirrors to actually get down - just glad I wasn't... More

The food is good but a little bit pricey. Ingredients are fresh and local. You can find typical Scottish dishes slightly revisited. Portions are just fine so you could take a starter or dessert (very good!) on top of the main course. Service and waitresses very good! Overall nice dining experience!

We stayed at Callander Meadows on the final night of our trip. Our room was very quaint and the location was right in the middle of Callander, which was ideal for the last minute gifts we needed to find! We ate at the superb restaurant and were completely blown away by the meal. By far the best meal we had... More

We were a group of 5 travelling through the area. We ate here our first night, and liked it so much, we went back for our second dinner in town. Didn't have any dish we didn't like. Soups and salads were excellent. Scallops were popular amongst our group as well. Friendly service. Nick, the owner/chef, gave us great recommendations for... More

Just had a great meal in Callander Meadows.. Arrived in Callander this afternoon after a couple of nights on Skye. After reading about this restaurant in the guidebook, getting a recommendation from Mac & Ania at Annfield guesthouse (wonderful place by the way!) & checking out the TripAdvisor reviews we booked a table for this evening. It is a beautiful... More

We had an excellent lunch. Both soups, spicy parsnip and French onion soup, were delicious and so was the fresh artisan bread served with them. The ham sandwich was absolutely to die for and the sticky toffee pudding scrumptious. Clearly, high quality products are used and it shows. It was all really well presented and great value for money. Very... More

Went to Callander Meadows with some friends tonight and once again had a superb meal. Excellent service, excellent food and a great choice of good wines at reasonable prices. Could not fault it! Definitely recommended.
