Evelyn was fantastic, catering for our antisocial hours, leaving at the crack of dawn and arriving back late after watching the Rider Cup at a Gleneagles. Packed lunch when we left early otherwise a great "full Scottish" breakfast if you wanted. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Clear local directions and very friendly advice. Will come back again with the rest... More

We stayed in the family room . It was a very spacious room facing the main road into Callander with a roomy en suite bathroom that was quite luxurious. The furnishings were lovely and the room was spotless. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was all you could ask for very tasty and plentiful. I wouldn't have to... More

very nice B&B, hosts very welcoming, breakfast was great, but to stay during winter they need to sort out the central heating, no other problems. ideal place to stay for quiet night away from hustle & bustle of home. Thank you Archie & Evelyn, we will be back.

Lovely old house - excellent choice of breakfast which was cooked to order. Friendly hosts who are a pleasure to talk to. Dog friendly in ground floor rooms which was both spacious and kept immaculately clean. Easy walk into Callandar which has plenty of eating places and shopping to suit all. Lovely drive to Loch Katrine and Loch Lomond which... More

We stayed one night in the family room. We had a lovely warm welcome. The room was spacious, extremely clean, and nicely decorated. The beds are nice and firm, and the room temperature comfortable. The breakfasts are top notch. I had the salmon and egg and it was a gengenerous portion of good quality food. The owner also gave us... More

Our hosts, Archie & Evelyn had recently been to New Zealand so knew exactly where our home town was and so gave us a very warm welcome. The room was lovely, beds were very good and the breakfast was excellent. We chose to stay in Callander due to its proximity to Stirling and Edinburgh without the high price tag and... More

Our room was decorated to the highest standard, extremely comfortable and with every mod com (including a hair dryer!) Evelyn and Archie are perfect hosts, and the food is the best you will find anywhere. We are planning to go back and... More

This is a real jewel, don't hesitate to book if your in the area. We stayed a couple of nights and found this place perfect for our needs. It was extremely hot temperatures for Scotland yet the bedroom was cool due to the high ceilings perfect for a good nights sleep. The room, the breakfast and the friendly welcome is... More

We stayed here as part of a Hooked on Cycling Lochs Galore tour. I have to say that our welcome was superb, also helping me with what I needed to do for the end of our trip. I would thoroughly recommend this stay if your going to Callander which is a lovely town with great hospitality.

I stayed here for two periods of 2 nights each on the way to and coming back from Orkney. Can highly recommend it. Rooms and beds very comfy and it was very easy to get a good night's sleep. Excellent breakfasts. Archie and Evelyn are great characters and are very welcoming as were their stand-ins whilst they were away during... More
