My partner and I have recently returned for a lovely three night stay in the self catered studio attached to Arden House. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Dawn made us feel extremely welcome and we enjoyed all the home comforts, away from home. Arden House is perfectly situated for a holiday in The Trossachs and I wouldn't hesitate to... More

We stayed in a lovely room upstairs with views across local gardens to the mountains. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed a pot of tea in the bay window of our room. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were delightful and were the best I had on our trip. There are walks behind the house and... More

My husband & I stayed at Arden House in "Tannochbrae" for 7 nights earlier this month (June 2014). It was our first stay with Dawn & Gary but not our first in Callander as we have been holidaying there for many years. We found everything to be just as we'd hoped, clean, comfortable, views from our room were just wonderful,... More

We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights while visiting the Trossachs area June 17-20, 2014. We were provided with home baked carrot cake upon arrival and each evening there was a delectable goodie awaiting us. Dawn is a trained chef and the great breakfast meals were proof of her knowledge of food preparation. The room was clean and comfortable... More

We had a warm welcome with cake and tea on offer. Parking was off road and plenty of space. The room was large and very comfortable and well appointed. We slept very well as it was very quiet. The house is set away from the town, within walking distance of the town and golf course. A very good breakfast with... More

Whether or not you're familiar with the ancient TV series 'Dr Finlay's Casebook', which made use of Arden House for some of its exterior shots back in the Sixties, you're going to have a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this gracious stone house, which presides over Callander with the dignity and elegance of another era. You'll be thoroughly spoiled by Dawn... More

We stayed in Arden House two nights while visiting the Trossachs. Upon our arrival, tea and cake were offered. Our room was very nice, overlooking the beautiful front lawn in a quiet location. The breakfast room is lovely. The owners are especially nice and the food was great. The owner even shared her recipes for the delicious carrot cake and... More

This is the best B & B I've ever stayed at. Beautiful, tranquil setting just by the woods leading to Bracklinn Falls and with terrific views. Lovely elegant house and comfortable rooms plus lots of personalised touches. The Pringles are the kindest, most hospitable people possible, in the best Scottish tradition and constantly think of the comfort of their guests.... More

Had a lovely 2days staying in Arden house. The Pringle could not have been more welcoming with lovely personal touches and superb breakfast especially dawn's stewed fruit. The walk up to Bracklinn falls was excellent and very close to Arden house. This is the best. B&b in Callander. Highly recommend a stay.
