Had a great couple of days at Roman Camp Hotel. Yellow Parlour room was quaint and comfortable . Staff very friendly service excellent! The food was fabulous served in an exquisite dinning room felt very special. Breakfast was also served in main dinning room. WOW wow wow I have been in travel for over 30 years and well used to different types of standards in hotels. This was a 1 night stop on our way to another hotel. I so wished this was the hotel we had chooen for our longer stay. Garvin greeted us with a very warm and friendly manner, nothing was... More

My wife's parents had their honeymoon at the hotel. As a young girl they would take her there for high tea. It was therefore logical for us to stay en route and raise a few memories. It really hasn't changed much, she observed. Indeed, it almost seemed out of place, caught in a time lock of yesteryear. It's plush and... More

This was my wife and I's second visit to this exquisite hotel and as usual the experience was outstanding. The first was a wedding and in my experience as a videographer having taken hundreds of weddings this was with out doubt the best. Food, service and surroundings were all out of this world. Our second visit was for Grand Afternoon... More

We had dinner at this hotel on Easter Friday - 2014. Simply perfect food - special occasion dining in a wonderful hotel which feels like your upmarket wealthy grandma's/ family country home, which you love to stay at, not perfect but wonderful. How this place is not full of foodies I have no idea, it should be chock-a-block. i live... More

Another fantastic stay at our favourite hotel one year after we were married here! Shona and the team are brilliant and very helpful. Some really strong additions to the team too. Food was out of this world and the Yellow Parlour was the perfect room for our anniversary stay. If I could change anything it would be the price as... More

This is one of the most charming hotels we have ever stayed in. Beautifully furnished, lovely gardens and pathways. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only wish we were staying more than one night.

Just back from celebrating our son and beautiful daughter in law's wedding and I can't praise Roman Camp and their staff enough. From start to finish everything was perfect, from the rooms, the staff, the meal and the general relaxed feeling in the place. They say that they want you to feel at home and we did. The log fires... We treated ourselves to an Easter meal at the Roman Camp on Easter Sunday - something we have been promising ourselves we would do for a few years. The setting was beautiful and the quality of the food lived up to its fine reputation. The whole experience was however completely spoiled by a gentleman, I assumed to be the manager... More
