Had an amazing nights stay at this hotel last weekend. Hotel is stunning. Staff were great. Had breakfast in the morning which was excellent as well. Would definately return here again, without a doubt.

This was our first stop on our honeymoon. The main areas of the hotel and grounds are lovely. We stayed in a suite that was spacious and clean with a huge bed. The decor was extremely dated, which I understand with the age of the hotel, but I still think the room and bathroom could do with updating. The library... More

Visited RCH last week. Came back for an overnight stay at RC as a ?? Pre wedding booking. Was upgraded to Superior Suite and wow, excited about it 2nd time round as much as the 1st. Only thing was around 23.20pm we went to the bar (which was closed) and enroute all corridors were in complete darkness (bar said to... More

Spent our first wedding anniversary here as a treat and were not disappointed. Quaint rooms, lovely helpful staff, good service, peaceful grounds, lovely log fires and our wee dog was welcome. We were attracted by the 3 rosette menu and the rosettes are well deserved. The standard of food was very high and service to match. Overall a fantastic weekend... More

This is the best kept secret in Central Scotland - do not drive through Callander past the pink building without turning down the magical driveway and entering the enchanting Roman Camp Hotel - it is wonderful - all rooms (especially Lady Esher's room), staff and food brilliant! The grounds and atomosphere are idyllic and we have thoroughly enjoyed every part... More

Beautiful old hotel. Staff excellent. Breakfast food fantastic. Felt £55 each for dinner was a bit expensive for what it was. Rooms have old fashioned furniture and not all in great shape but this is part of the overall charm of the hotel. Someone complained about musty smell, which there is as carpets in hallways soiled with water from ???... More

The hotel is full of character and had log fires to welcome you. The rooms are all different. The Jacuzzi bath in the South room was a real treat. The food is wonderful and staff attentive. The grounds are worth a visit too and peacocks roam freely.

We attended a wedding at the Roman camp hotel over the weekend. The staff didn't seem too impressed/ happy. But they were very accommodating! The food was amazing, drinks a bit pricey but expected. Over all the grounds and place its self is amazing and the wedding was stunning. A perfect location for anyone looking to marry in this area!

My son was married at Roman Camp Hotel and I have to say we were delighted with location, food and excellent service. The situation was beautiful, we were so lucky having the wedding early summer the gardens were magnificent with the rhododendrons in full bloom. They had an option to have the service by the river which we didn't take... More
