We stayed here for one night last week and couldn't praise it enough. It is centally located, the rooms great. We were in the coach house. Excellent B & B just off the busy main street (where much of the accommodation in Callander). It is walkable to all the restaurants and bars of which there are many. The location is about 40 miles NE of Glasgow and the same NW of Edinburgh so it's a good place to stay for a first exploration of the 2 Scottish cities and part of the Highlands. Touring Scotland as a lone female, I must say my nerves were a little tattered by the time I'd driven to Callander from Glasgow by way of Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine, and the spectacular scenery of the Trossachs.
