We wrote in the book that Annfield was the best Guest House we had ever stayed in and we meant every word. The warmth of the welcome (lovely home made cakes on arrival) from Anya & Mac was second to none. The rooms were spotless and the breakfasts with fresh fruit and a fabulous full Scottish cooked option were wonderful... More

This B&B must be the best in Scotland if not the UK. Ania and Mac made my partner Janet and I so welcome that we can't wait to go back again. Undoubtedly the couple work hard to achieve the end results of such high standards. Others (including so called 'quality' hotels) should aspire to achieve what they have done.

This must be one of the very best Guest Houses in UK. From the very beginning the welcome was exceptional, tea with home made cakes in a beautifully fornished lounge in which was also free Sherry and sweets. The room was stunning, in fact the entire premises shouted "quality" wherever you went; furnishings, bedding, curtains - it was quite exceptional.... More

This is without doubt the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Mac and Ania were brilliant hosts and nothing was too much for them. Situated in a nice town the location of which is excellent for visiting the Trossachs National Park. We are looking forward to staying at the Annfield again next year, Janet and Dave

This was an excellent guest house. In addition to a very warm welcome, we enjoyed an outstanding breakfast and a very comfortable night's stay. The breakfast was the highlight because of the variety of fresh fruit and the quality and presentation of the Scottish breakfast. I particularly appreciated being offered an extra fried egg because I had declined the haggis... More

The hosts were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived in their lovely home. Their little touches of chocolates in the lounge with sherry and mints on the bed made the stay extra special. Room 1 was on the small side with a small shower but it was spotless and modern. The breakfast was superb. Loved the fresh fruit... More

from our arrival, we were made to feel most welcome at Annfield guest house, we stayed for 3 nights but could easily have stayed longer! Mac and Ania did all they could to make our stay perfectly comfortable, with fresh linen and towels, an excellent breakfast and warm hospitality. We had stayed here before for 2 nights, and were not... More

We think this may have reached the heights of the best B&B we have a stayed in! The most delicious breakfasts and good choices. A house filled with period features and furniture. Extremely clean; change of bedding after 2 days; sherry and chocs in the residents lounge area; excellent host and hostess in Mac and Ania. We had room 3,... More

We stayed at Annfield House in Callander just for one night, but it was simply perfect. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the room huge (king-size bed, 2 armchairs, private bathroom) and super clean; coffee and tea facilities are provided. The whole house is beautiful!Breakfast is amazing:you can choose among a big variety of food, from cereals to fresh... More
