The first thing you’ll notice upon arrival is the beautifully tended front yard garden. I was in love as I drove in to the parking area. Annfield Guest House ruined me for any other B&B and I mean that. From the welcome and offer of tea or coffee after a long international flight, Mac's incredible culinary skills to all of... More

Very friendly welcome and room 4 was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and the haggis was very tasty. Two very real nights and look forward to our return next year. Hosts welcoming but not intrusive. Callander busy because of jazz festival on second night but had a lovely meal at Crown hotel

I first wrote a review of Annfield House in October 2011 and my husband and I have just returned from our 5th visit. (We stay here each October for the duration of the excellent Callander Jazz festival.) Mac and Ania are wonderful, helpful hosts without being intrusive. I look forward to our annual "catch up" with them. The lovely victorian... More

Such a lovely reception from Anya and Mac, it was a most welcome after a long drive, along with the tea and homemade cakes. The house was beautifully decorated as was our room. It was spotlessly clean. The ensuite was a generous size. We had a really comfortable nights sleep and a delicious breakfast the following morning. We would most... More

We stayed at Annfield for one night whilst en route to Loch Ness, and as others have stated, it was faultless. From the friendly welcome from Mac and Ania, to the tea and cakes, served with flair on silver trays in the beautiful lounge, to the spacious well appointed room, it was all well thought out and done with style.... Our stay at Annfield was faultless from start to finish. On arrival Mac and Ania were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was the best we have ever had ..... 5 star hotels included. The welcome tea/ coffee with home made fruit tarts and brownie set out on silver tray was delightful and delicious. We... As others have said Mac and Ania were gracious and very attentive to all of our needs. Whether it was walking, sightseeing, restaurants or morning breakfast, they were there. We were greeted with tea and pastry. Our room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet would have been plenty, but then Ania insisted that we have a hot breakfast as well. We... More

This was our first visit to Callander and we were very impressed with Annfield Guest House. Upon arrival we were met by Ania who was very friendly and made us feel at ease from the start. We wanted some local knowledge about places to ride our bikes and eat/drink out. Ania and Mac was very helpfull and kindly provided us... More

This is the best B and B I've ever stayed at. The welcoming committee (Ania and Mac) was already on their feet when we arrived and we were served thee with some lovely cakes in the sitting room. The house itself was beautiful, quiet, ideally situated and very luxurious. Bedding was great, linen crisp and very clean. Breakfast was sumptuous... More
