We stayed in the garden room with our two dogs and young baby last week. One of the best pet friendly places we have stayed in during our time in Devon. The grounds are splendid, the house delightful and the room was very spacious with a spare room included. We arrived late and the owners were very accommodating in helping... More

My partner and I stayed in Penpark's Room 1, the 'large upstairs double', for two nights while attending a wedding nearby. The room is lovely, with an enormous bed, comfortable sofas, plenty of space and fabulous views of the surrounding landscape. The weather was cold while we were there but the room was deliciously cosy. We had read the Penpark... More

Our room was quite large, however when we first enquired about the facilities, although we did specifically ask about the room, we were not advised that it was not on-suite. The bathroom was situated on the main upper hallway, very handy in the middle of the night. There was a bath with fitted shower to the taps, but no ability... More

Stayed here for two nights , 25 and 26 th September with husband, teenage son and boxer dog. Stayed in the garden room. Spacious and very comfortable beds, the outside walls are thick stone and it did have a "damp" feel to it but the heating was on and the bedding is more than adequate so didnt feel the cold... More

we have stayed at many B&Bs throughout Devon, some cheaper, not many more expensive in this price range!. this visit did not reflect the normal Devonshire welcome, value for money and overall friendliness or hospitality. the room was good, grounds and setting is wonderful however insufficient tea and coffee provided and no sugar in the room. however everything is very... This was the best place we stayed in throughout our road trip in england. The rooms are tastefully decorated and quiet. Bathroom is carpeted and very pretty. Breakfast was great and the countryside views from the window are perfect. I was surprised that it turned out so well as I was worried by one poor review. Would stay here a... More

I will not be able to say enough good about our 2 night stay at PenPark. The property is so beautiful with flower gardens and fields beyond with sheep and Maddy (owner) makes your stay perfect. Fresh flowers graced our room each day, we had our own sitting room to visit, our own patio to sit on and have tea,... More

We have had a very pleasant stay of three nights in Penpark B&B. We had a spaceous room with a very fine private bathroom down a fully private corridor. The room had an excellent (double) bed with the best view ever! We were allowed to use a very large guest sitting room at ground floor as well which turned the... More

We have loved every visit here. Last year we got married in Devon and my whole family (dogs as well) stayed in this beautiful house. Mike and Maddy are so warm and friendly. During our time here we spend our time playing tennis or walking on the moors, which are just 5 mins away in the car.

My girlfriend & I booked a last minute weekend away and Maddy did her utmost to squeeze us in at such short notice. Additionally, she catered for my partner's vegan diet which was hugely appreciated. The B&B itself was at the end of a long driveway and was beautiful both inside and out. The grounds were immaculate and the furnishings... More
