''Had a lovely weekend away. Blue skies and sunshine all weekend, stayed in this wonderful hotel, home of a artist, she has a very old thatched farmhouse built around 1500, with surrounding barn conversions which was the accommodation. There were free range chickens on the nearby land which supplied the breakfast eggs. All food was locally sourced. Our meal on... more

Fantastic service and superb food!! I managed to get an excellent room at a very low price for the friendly service and delicious food. The staff went out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. The wine selection was very good too, especially the Pinot Noir. more

This is much more that ‘just’ a small hotel, there are various rooms available including an apartment. It is set in an a nice location and the staff are extremely friendly, returning there recently the owner treated us as old friends that he had not seen for years. The food was first class and the chef even came out to... more

The hotel has a lovely setting and the buildings are pretty from the outside. From our room, we had a view of the chickens and ducks which were great to watch. The minute we arrived the owner greeted us with a huge smile and welcoming hand and showed us immediately to our gorgeous room. Once unpacked, we walked back across the courtyard into the cosy lobby where we were again greeted with... more

The location of this farm and restaurant is just perfect. The accommodation consists of a thatched farm house and courtyard rooms which were once part of the stables. As you approach the farm house it delivers everything you would expect from a Devon holiday, thatch, flowers, grounds keeping duck and chickens, views of rolling countryside. We thought it was stunning.... more

I booked the room over the phone but viewed the website first. My stay was fantastic. I was able to use the internet in my room for no extra cost wirelessly, which was a must to help me with my job. The food served in the restaurant is fresh from the farm or its neighbours and is cooked to perfection.... more
