A great one night stay here, for 3 people. Lovely, friendly hosts. Great rooms and breakfast. Nothing to fault at all. Amazing views, location was perfect for getting to/from the train station. Will recommend, and would stay again if in the area.

We only stayed one night but we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms with bath room are clean and spacious, good beds. We have no complaints, the breakfast was great. We can recommend this Bed &Breakfast.

Only stayed one night but we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms are gorgeous with very comfy beds, you even get dressing gowns and slippers and a complimentary small bottle of wine. Absolutely superb and the breakfast is marvellous. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights at Brown's while househunting in the area. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome or a better place to stay. Calm, relaxing, homely and professional in everything. My dog was made welcome without a fuss. Rooms were clean, pleasant and relaxing places to be in. Thanks!

We stayed here for a week at the end of August/ early September. Without a car this may not have been the best choice at the top of a very steep hill, since we had to negotiate the "short cut to town" via steep steps and very steep slopes 4 times a day! It kept us fit if nothing else... More

My company has been in Newton Abbot for over year, all staff free to stay anywhere and we all stay here. Simply friendly, best breakfast in Devon, comfortable with stunning location. In short stay here.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a base from which to explore this part of Devon and we were absolutely delighted with our choice. The accommodation is wonderful, the breakfast is simply amazing and the hosts are brilliant, friendly and helpful. It is pretty much exactly how a B&B should be. The accommodation is in a very large Victorian... More

My partner and I stayed at this guest house for one night while visiting friends in Newton Abbot. It is set high on a hillside with absolutely fantastic views. Luckily for us the weather was perfect which gave us the chance to have a drink on the veranda. Ian the owner was brilliant letting us borrow his binoculars to watch... More

We stayed here whilst on a tour of England for a 4 day visit with our two young children aged 10 & 2, from the moment we entered the huge old house we were made to feel welcome, as if visiting family nothing was an issue. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful from fresh fruit to full English and cereal in-between!... More
