Fantastic site. My husband and I stayed at plough lane caravan site for two nights last week. When we arrived the gentleman in reception couldn't of been more helpful. Our hookup wasn't long enough so he kindly borrowed us one of his and came back later to check we where okay. The showers and toilets where great, the music in... More

Plough Lane is a wonderful caravan site for adults only. All of the touring pitches are well maintained and the surrounding hedges and shrubs were beautiful. You wake up to a dawn chorus of birds. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent, very clean and warm. The owners were most helpful and they managed to move things around so that... More

We spent 2 nights here with our two dogs. The site was Lovely and clean with adequate showers and toilets. The owners were wonderful and so helpful they make the stay perfect with lots of little extras. The only downside was the constant drone of traffic from the busy road and lack of on site shop.We will definitely be back soon... More

We have been coming to Plough Lane since 2007, firstly with a folding camper & then our dinky touring caravan. We have returned on numerous occasions & have enjoyed our stay each time. Helen & Roger are the perfect hosts, always ready to help with any problems that might occur, we forgot the poles for our TV aerial but after... More

Just spent a very happy week at this campsite. Very impressed. It was our first visit but definitely won't be our last. The site is immaculate. The loos and showers are home from home! The staff were fantastic. Really helpful and welcoming. Yes there is some traffic noise noticeable because we live in a very quiet place but after a... More

We stayed for a week for the first time on this site. Received a very warm welcome and helped onto pitch which was with hardstanding with electric hook up only. Given the information booklet which I must say was the best we have ever had from a site. The site is well maintained, kept clean and tidy. Pitches are of... More

We first visited Plough Lane in 2006, and have been regular visitors ever since. In our opinion, this is one of the very best camp sites in the UK...and we have visited many, both within theTranquil Group, and outside it. We usually try to have a serviced pitch, for convenience, but the shower block is superb. Some people have carped... More

This site turned out to be just what we wanted, plenty of things to do and places to go, Pitches all hard standing, clean, and flat , facilities all good, we will visit again. The area is worth seeing particularly Lacock Abbey, where you may recognise the area as it has been used for many TV period drams.

Stayed here last week of May , site very well run by the very pleasant owners. The site was very well maintained and the toilet/ shower block was kept to a very high standard. On the subject of showers there are only two male and two female showers, and one unisex/ disable, this seemed a little on the short side,... More

We have stayed at Plough Lane 3 times now and will be going back again in August. It is a lovely site easily accessed off of the M4. We have received a warm welcome everytime we have stayed at the site. The showers and toilets are immaculate and well equipped. The pitches are good too. There is a large supermarket... More
