We had been attending a function at the hotel & didn't fancy driving home, the receptionist Niccy gave an excellent first impression of the hotel. NOTHING was too much trouble for the staff. We asked if there were any rooms & were allocated 2 rooms overlooking the river; both rooms were very spacious and well equipped ( we had a coffee... More

Thank you for our lovely stay. The room was magnificent, great views and beautifully clean and modern. The staff were excellent in the restaurant and the food was superb. We have re-booked for April and August.

We stayed for 1 night on their special deal - £189 bed and breakfast including £30 per head towards dinner and a free cocktail each. Room was really nice, with a river view. Dinner, they had no crab, lobster or haddock. This happened to us on our last stay as well, they ran out of some food. Main courses we... More

Second time we went there and would go again. Lovely relaxing setting, good clean rooms and great food. The staff are friendly and attentive. A great hotel. Also a good place from which to explore the South coast of England. Highly recommended.

My wife and I took advantage of the Sunday spa offer for a rare treat without the kids. Everything was perfect - the room was great (definitely worth the extra tenner for a junior suite) and extremely well looked after. It still looked brand new. The food (and service) in the evening and the breakfast was all really good too... More

We decided to have a weekend break in the UK, in an area that is both pretty and has a lot of walking potential. However we wanted a bit of luxury when we returned in the evening. We found this hotel on the internet and the reviews were great so we booked. The reviews proved totally true. We had a... More

We spent three nights here in February when it was very cold outside. Our suite was always beautifully warm and very comfortable. There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely lounge and dining area. The kitchen area was clean, modern and had a Coffee machine,( with coffee supplied,) microwave / oven and a dishwasher. Fresh milk was put in... More
