The location was gorgeous, views from our suites looking over the River on some drab November days were the first thing that made our wedding anniversary special. The 2 bedroom suite (210) was gorgeous, so comfortable, we had to change to another suite for the last night because we extended our stay, but the one bedroom 2 bathroom was equally... More

we always have great service here from the bar staff to the restaurant staff. great food we love to eat here. In the summer or great days they open up the front to the sea. and it is a glorious sight with all the boats.take a trip to mudeford and see the famous beach huts.

Had a one night stay on Sun 16th Nov. Arrived midday and our suite was already ready although they say check in from 3pm. Took our dog who was made very welcome and the two bedroom suite that we stayed in on was perfect. Food was very good and the staff very attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be... I'm wondering if I stayed in the same hotel as the one mentioned in the poor reviews on this site. We stayed here for my husband's 50th birthday. The staff were so assiduous we felt like royalty! The only reason the hotel knew it was my husband's birthday was because I ordered flowers for the room but I think everyone... More

Stayed for one night in a junior suite room. Large room with view if the harbour and only a 5 min walk from the main town. Modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We only had room service as eaten lunchtime but even that was good. Room had coffee pod machine which was a nice touch. Only missing a mini... More

Stayed here overnight on a business trip to Bournemouth. A lovely boutique hotel. All rooms overlook the River Stour. Amazing views by daylight! The rooms on the first floor are doubles. That was where I stayed. Very comfortable bed and pillow made for sound sleep! Next morning it took quite a while for the shower to spout hot water. Almost... More

My husband and I came to the Captains Club for a long weekend as it was his birthday. We were a little worried as to what we had booked as our sat nav took us through a housing estate but when we came to the hotel at the end of the road next to the river it was super. The... More

This hotel is in a fabulous location with a great river view from the bedroom and very central for nice walks and visiting. Very comfy bed and quiet. I found all the staff to be very attentive. Hotel has a nice atmosphere and I personally liked the size of it. Not too large to be impersonal. Pity the spa did... More

Stayed here for a weekend. Lovely hotel and location. Bed so comfortable. What makes this hotel is the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, with a great 'can do' attitude. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
