Well we've been here one night, two days so far and the staff can't do enough to make your stay more memorable and they go out of their way to make sure you get what you really want to make your stay fantastic. This really has been the best service we've had in the UK. We also hired the Nauti... More

I visit regularly with partner on weekends for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Saturday morning had to wait 20 mins for drinks order to be taken, had to order at bar. When 2nd drinks eventually ordered the order was forgotten to be out in. Must say lunch was lovely as always, food amazing. Service is slipping. Sunday morning breakfast ordered... More

My husband and I went to The Captains Club for afternoon tea for our 1st wedding anniversary. I have to say the sandwiches and cakes were lovely. But as I don't drink tea I did feel that they felt put out when I asked for a glass of water. Of which I wasn't offered a refill when I had finished.... More

I fell in love with both the hotel and the city. The staff at the hotel could not have been nicer, I was there on business and they were very helpful. Particularly Christine at the front desk was terrific and made my stay there easy. The room was very nice and looked out onto the river (that is true of... More

Stayed for a couple of days with our 5-year old grandson and couldn't recommend more highly. We took a family room which was like a small modern flat: clean and light with a well-equipped kitchen, two loos and a single and double bedroom. All mod cons. And the view over the river with boats, swans and greenery is lovely. Location... More

This is a small modern hotel right by the river in Christchurch. All rooms look out over the river which leads out to the sea. The rooms are clean and bright. When it rains, there is quite a racket from the metal sunshields above the windows. This is a minor criticism when one has such a lovely view of the... More

Good position on the river with great views. Rooms were adequate if not a little over priced. Should have stayed 2 nights however checked out early due to disagreement regarding hotel policy on pets. Hotel need to ensure that the information offered to guests on booking is accurate and reflected by senior staff on duty. Public areas nice and comfortable.... More

A hotel frequented often, this is a favourite as is Christchurch. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly and rooms overlooking the river are a little small for the price however perfectly formed. Large windows that can open fully are a nice touch. Ensure the head chef is in when eating in the restaurant as the price you pay for the... More
