This was our second visit having stayed a night in September last year and we booked for two nights to stay this August 2014.Following a warm welcome we were shown to room 8 in the 'coach house' which must be the smallest, darkest room they have! This was annoying as we had made a phone call several days in advance to... More

The Menu looked good and the choice was easy.Roast Lamb Dinner. The food was warmed up and totally spoilt by awful gravy. My Husband likes thick gravy and I do not like thickened tasting gravy, but we both disliked this, and were disappointed with the meal. We were looking for accommodation for our family in October, but the poor food has made us rethink.

Great food and very friendly staff. Menu has a good choice of both traditional dishes and some new dishes. There is also a good specials board that overall makes for a broad choice of food to please anyone. Nice traditional pub atmosphere. Décor is looking a little dated but everywhere was clean. Sometimes its nice to find a pub that... More

Spent over a week at this Fuller's Pub with rooms. Can't say enough about the staff, all were really helpful, and attentive; I felt well looked after! A selection of Fuller's quality hand-pulled beers, and a food menu with something for everyone makes this pub a pleasent destination. The Coach House rooms are the quietest, those upstairs in the Pub... More

We stayed here for a family wedding. We were immediately struck by the decaying nature of the place. Our hearts sank when we were shown to the room in the coach house, which is in fact a sixties/seventies block, and the connection with coaches is difficult to fathom. The building had a damp smell about it. The paint is all... More

Nice Quaint, quiet little Pub in the middle of a quaint little village, good qualituy homemade food and friendly staff. Family Friendly. Rooms in need of a little updating but clean and comfortable and do the job after a tiring day. Well worth a visit.

I've visited this restaurant many times. Generally the food is of a good standard. A large range of fish and local meat produce. Good on portions. Staff excellent, always a pleasure. Great beers. What I would be critical of is two things. The whole place could do with a spruce up. The interior is looking very worn and a bit... More

We stayed one night here as we had to collect our daughter from nearby Bournemouth Airport. Chosen for proximity to this and also that it was doggy friendly. Clive was welcoming and informative at check in and our room was comfortable and clean with a nice large shower although maybe a little tired. We ate in the bar that evening... More

We visited the New Forest Area in June 2014 and chose to Stay at a Fullers hotel - The Fishermans Haunt just 5 minutes drive from Christchurch. We had previously visited this hotel/pub approximately 20 years ago for a meal and due to its position around the Christchurch/Bournemouth/New Forest Area thought we would go back and stay this time.
