Myself and my partner stayed in Forge Place early in October, we stayed in the Stour room and it was absolutely gorgeous! The room is lovely and spacious with an en suite bathroom and kitchenette. We stayed here for 2 nights but wished we could of stayed longer! I can say without a shadow of a doubt the breakfast was... More

My wife and I stayed at Forge Place for 3 nights, we both wish it could have been more. We stayed in the Avon room, very clean, well appointed with a huge bed. The kitchen area was very useful with the fridge, coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom was ideal with an excellent shower. The setting of Forge Place is... More

Spent a weekend here and every aspect of our stay was fantastic. The rooms were wonderful, location was ideal for exploring the New Forest, local pubs and restaurants nearby. However the hospitality of Caroline was outstanding - really friendly and helpful. Also the breakfasts were incredible and definitely set us up for the days ahead. I'd wholly recommend a stay... Beautiful, quiet, peaceful! Perfect location. Caroline and John are very hospitable and breakfasts are quite amazing. We shall certainly visit again. Walking distance of The Fishermans pub where the food and service is excellent. There is even a torch in the room to make coming back in the dark a lot safer!

Myself and my partner spent a weekend at Forge Place to get away from the hustle and bustle of London. We stayed the the lovely Stour Room and were greated warmly by our hosts. The room was very clean and we even got a piece of chocolate cake! I truly say that Caroline is a great baker and we were... More

We were looking for a quiet break away from it all so we booked into Forge Place for four nights. We received a warm welcome from Caroline and John along with their lovely dog Halle. Both rooms are in their garden with their own access. We stayed in the very comfortable Stour Room, with en-suite shower room and a small... More

We stayed at Forge Place for 2 nights in the Stour Room which is set within the garden of the main house. The room was ensuite with a modern shower and a small kitchenette that had a kettle, a coffee maker and a fridge (complete with milk and water). Because the room is set apart you come and go though... More

We stayed in Forge place for 2 nights in May 2012. The welcome was warm and personal with a lovely homemade chocolate cake and tea on arrival. The rooms are set apart from the main house with it's own entrance, meaning you can come and go as you please. It also means if you want to relax in your room... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the 'Stour' room which was very good - large clean room with seperate kitchenette with Krups coffee machine, large LCD TV and a good heater (it was very cold outside). Forge Place is ideally situated for exploring the New Forrest and Dorset/Hampshire coast. The breakfasts were very good using quality products and very nicely... More
