Stayed here for weekend break to take advantage of the sunny weekend promised by the coast. Had seen this hotel many times on journey down to Christchurch and had it earmarked for a visit. Good location near beach and harbourside although a little far to walk. We had a room on the second floor, no lifts so arrived breathless! Room... more

Hard to find much negative to say about this place. Well, here goes: the selection of beers at the bar is very limited (wine list is rather good, though). We stayed at the BW Waterford Lodge Hotel for one night 26th March 2008 and were very pleased with the hotel. We had a nice room on the first floor, very comfortable with two armchairs, the view from the window was only down into a small courtyard but we didn't spend much time in the room so that was OK.... more

Great staff, helpful and attentive. Although the hotel was full we spent an exceptionally quiet Saturday night in room 8 which overlooks the front car park. It was very clean, slightly dated but well equipped. It was let down by a terrible shower that either sprayed a very fine mist or poured a verticle stream depending on how you adjusted... more

We stayed at the waterford lodge hotel for 3 nights and was very very impressed with not only the friendly staff, but also the quality of the hotel itself. we were given a great room with a brand new flat acreen tv (with free veiw) room 3 it was over looking the gardens.. the food was delightful and the lounge... more

The Waterford Lodge Hotel,Christchuch. Bournemouth. June 2004 A thoroughly delightful hotel. High standards of cleanliness,decor,comfort etc. Management appeared quite stuffy but the luxury and high standards more than made up for this.
