We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding locally. The lunch that we had on arrival and breakfast the following morning were both very good. The room was comfortable and airy with a nice selection of tea, coffee etc in the room, including a cafetiére with coffee. The shower changed to cold a couple of times briefly and I... More

Great hotel, can't fault it. Rooms were very comfortable and much bigger than other hotels I've stayed in for this price! Lovely setting with a wonderful front and back garden to sit in and would be great for children and dogs. We stayed here for a trip into bournemouth. It was easy to find, lovely friendly staff who actually seemed... More

Stayed over night prior to driving on to Cornwall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meal and breakfast was superb. The accomodation was comfortable although the floors did squeak a lot. That said, I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for just one night in a family room. The room was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Dinner was good and breakfast was great. Its only five. Instead from Bournemouth Airport and there are lovely walks from the door. There is a busy roAd very close so expect some road noise when windows are open. The pillows were... More

Really lovely hotel. Room was very nice with a comfortable bed and with decent tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious, and staff were friendly whenever we spoke to them. We also had lunch in the beer garden which was tasty. We'd definitely stay again.

This is a really friendly hotel, great service, great "Pub" food, unfortunately we only stayed one night as it was a short nigh"s stop off for Bournemouth Airport . It's what it is, a well converted railway station complete with railway line and carriage. Down side, Rambling access to bedrooms on the first floor and no lift (hence only 4... More

We only stayed at this charming, former railway, hotel for one night before catching a morning plane from Bournemouth airport. It is only five minutes away by car! The hotel is reasonably priced and our bedroom was absolutely fine and had a fully fitted bathroim suite. The room was a bit too warm, but not uncomfortably so. We had an... More

Spot on for a night or two away as a weekend break. Great bar and restaurant. Basic rooms but clean and tidy. Really friendly and helpful service. Interesting history to the place and the train carriage which is now a murder-mystery events room is top notch. I'd definitely return.
