Have jute returned from a two night stay and one the hole was very satisfied . The hotel is a little tired but spotless . We had b&b and breakfast was served in the Pullman carriage which sits along side the hotel which made a nice change . The staff were very friendly and helpfull. We ate in the restaurant... More

We planned a night out with food and drink. We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to stay over. Food - first class, as was the service. Very friendly staff. The accommodation is of a high standard with the rooms spacious and well appointed. We had the four poster which was a bit of treat. It was a very warm... More

This is a great little hotel. Stayed here for one night as we had a party to go to in the area. Nice and clean, friendly staff, prompt service, good breakfast and bar meal. An absolute bargain for the price.

We stayed here for one night last Thursday. Room very small (no 5) and VERY hot, although there was a fan which helped but had to turn it off during the night as noisy. Breakfast is in the railway carriage which was quaint and where they hold Murder Mystery Evenings. A good selection for breakfast but my poached eggs tasted... More

We stayed for one night. Booked after we read all the comments and yes: there is something about the plumbery. When somebody someehere turns a tapp the place seems to lift off, the QE2 sounds humble in comparison......but the people are so friendly, the food is excellent and the place is so comfertably nice to have a drink!!! And than... More

Having booked a 4 poster room for our wedding anniversary stay we were disappointed to be given a standard double room especially as we had booked in March. The manager did not offer to investigate this situation on our arrival night although the following morning offered the room on an alternative date (no really compensation for our disappointment) Late Rooms... Stopped here on way home from a weekend away. Good quality carvery and unlike a lot really tasty gravy, obviously made with meat juices. Great staff and good value too! Would like to stay for breakfast in the adjoined train carriage!

Not so easy to find, easily missed when driving from the motorway, but well worth the extra mile and turn back to find this charming Wadworth's hotel, restaurant and welcoming pub. Stayed for one night only, prior to a day at Bournemouth Airport on business - the evening bar staff were happy to help and serve, the bar menu meal... More

We needed a place to stay before flying out from Bournemouth and had good reviews and website indicated it was what we wanted. It was! We drove down to the hotel and were met by the manager/owner who made us welcome. It looked old but I know from experience this doesn't always mean everywhere is the same inside. It was... More
