A lovely warm welcome as always and due to the Cheltenham festival I suspect this time had to book a heritage room as the less expensive rooms all booked. Heritage rooms not particular spacious however they do enjoy a more deluxe look and feel to fixtures and fittings. From a practicality point of view the large full-length mirror is virtually... This is the second time I have eaten here, the first time was ok, but last night was just disappointing. The staff explained the delay in the food arriving eventually but this being explained sooner would've been helpful. I ordered pan fried sea bass with pearly barley samphire and courgette. Which came without the courgette, I told staff but heard... More

My husband and I recently choose to have our wedding at this lovely hotel. It is a beautiful Georgian building tucked away from the main road with a lovely garden. The staff are incredibly friendly and most helpful and really made our day even more special. The food was deliious and they were more than happy to cater for any... More

The hotel is more or less on its own cul de sac in a residential area and was pleasantly quiet on the day we stayed. However I noticed the booking confirmation did warn of noise from discos in the wedding season and it's clearly not big enough for those not involved in a function to escape it. Staff were helpful... We live locally but needed a room for my daughter for a couple of nights. Everything fine but the single bedroom ( No.24 on the ground floor) was somewhat cramped - nevertheless acceptable with a generous breakfast. We had dinner on Sunday evening the menu for which was the Sunday lunch choices. Very enjoyable, lovely food and charming service. I... More

Stayed here as part of a large group so had dinner too. The staff were all very nice and really helpful. The room was a double with an en suite shower room, immaculate and nicely decorated. Flat screen TV, and coffee making facilities. Dinner was served efficiently and the bar was very nice for drinks before and after! Breakfast was... More

It was nice to experience the individual feeling which his hotel offers ,and made a refreshing change from the corporate look and lay out off the big group hotels .The food which we sampled during our stay was to a good standard ,and again made a change from the plastic menu- boil in a bag stuff .The staff was very... A rather last minute booking for a celebratory Afternoon Tea, following a problem with the reservation at the previous selected venue. The Staff were attentive and helpful both in arranging and executing the event. A nice touch were the Chefs "Treats", tiny cups of soup and tiny delicious trifles in our case. St Andrews House is a lovely old building... More
