We recently stayed here overnight on our way to the Peak District. Donna, the assistant manager, was particularly helpful with our requests. The room was very cold when we arrived but we were given a portable heater and the heating was sorted out very quickly. Nothing was too mch trouble for her. The evening dinner was not outstanding but was... More

A picture-postcard pub in the tranquil Worcestershire countryside. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, and our bed exceptionally comfortable. We didn't dine here as we were expected elsewhere but we sampled some excellent beers in the bar. The restaurant was busy and customers looked happy. We ate a hearty breakfast when I had a delicious eggs benedict and my... More

I stayed in the separate bedrooms out the back of the pub, which were a nice size and away from the pub noise. Breakfast and evening meal were both excellent. Good selection of... More

When I need a room in the UK I prefer to avoid the typical business type hotels. This is a perfect example why everyone should too! Great room, decent food and a great range of ales. Friendly, chatty staff. Spot on!

This lovely country inn is off the beaten track but well worth a visit .We stayed one night to meet up with family with a dog, and we were made very welcome. Although it was extremely busy being a Saturday, the food and service was of a very high standard. Our rooms in the annexe were comfortable and looked out... More
