Last minute decision to stay here as opposed to the local chain express hotel was a fantastic one. Very comfortable standard room with great shower but sadly no bath. Lovely Inn with good pub grub. Food was not to the standard of a dining pub but was hearty and wholesome with very attentive staff. The location was perfect and relaxing.... More

Booked last minute so we got a really good deal. The hotel is tucked away but not too far from nearest town Droitwich Spa which seemed to have good facilities we didn't explore it all!The hotel is very tastefully decorated .A roaring fire welcomed us from the bar reception area. The assistant manager Donna welcomed us and couldn't be more helpful as... Superb find! Tranquil spot but only a 10 minute drive from Worcester. We were made to feel so welcome by all the staff. Our large bedroom was warm and cosy. Dinner by the roaring fire was fantastic. Breakfast was a real treat too. Excellent value and a really enjoyable stay. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay in room 7. The room was the cheapest available but did not disappoint. Maybe the colour scheme of the bathroom could do with an update but it's only a very minor detail because otherwise it was in very good condition and clean. If you are concerned that the inn is in a secluded area, fear... More

Staying for a few days nearby in self catering accommodation between Christmas and New Years, the Hadley Bowling Green was the nearby pub recommended to us by the book of local things in our house. A nice place, we were met by pleasant staff who looked after us very well. I had some nice olives to start and decided to... More

My partner and I went for a meal with another couple for Sunday lunch, my gf went for the duck leg which she said was delicious. The staff were attentive and brought drinks over and took the food order. I had roast beef. The thin succulent pink slices were atop a large yorkshire pudding and filled with a rich gravy,... More

We stayed here with a couple of friends just for one night and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were shown to our room by a lovely young lady who gave us information on the hotel and restaurant. The room (6) was spacious, well and comfortably furnished and beautifully clean. The small ensuite was very clean, shame there wasn't a bath.... More

We stayed here overnight on route to Dumfries for the New Year. The hotel was very quiet but all the staff couldn't have been more helpful. There is a lovel bar area with an open fire and an excellent selection of ales. Our room was spotless and very well appointed. There was a large choice of good freshly cooked food... More

We stayed 1 night in December as we were only passing through. The room (7) and en-suite shower were spotlessly clean, the breakfast excellent and the staff most friendly and helpful. We would like to stay longer next time.

Stayed over on in December on route to Windermere. Had a De-Luxe double (Room 1) which was excellent. Very spacious and warm. Good furnishings and comfortable bed. As usual with hotel rooms tho' the settee is always placed beneath the t.v so you cannot sit and watch. But really no complaints about the room - very quiet and looked out... More
