Hired the Orangery for my husband's 60th birthday with a group of friends. When we arrived on the Bylaugh Hall estate we had difficulty in finding the Orangery as all the signs were missing and the whole estate was really run down, luckily we found someone who directed us. When we arrived the heating hadn't been put on, although they... More

The owners are also extremely accommodating and were keen to ensure... More

We hired the Smithy & Brewery as a group booking for 27 people of mixed age ranges and it worked well. The quadrangle was great for the children to play on their bikes and small ball games. We hired a chef and had a sit down meal for us all and fitted nicely into one property all together. This was... More

This place is awful, been repossessed, they still owe thousands in unpaid CCJ's. Please, please don't waste your money, time and energy in even thinking about booking with them... they owe us at least 6 thousand pounds after being unable to hold our wedding - it wasn't "poor communication" as a previous poster suggested, its been in the telegraph and... For two summers running myself and my family have stayed in holiday let accommodation in the grounds of Bylaugh Hall, the guests of Stephen and Muffy Vince. We primarily selected the accommodation based on two criteria...firstly we needed space – our group size was 15 persons (a mix of adults and children) and secondly the location...the holiday let properties are... Like many, many others we were ripped off by the vince family of Bylaugh hall. We left a £3000 deposit for my daughter’s wedding and thats the last we ever saw of Mr & Mrs Vince or our £3000, probably the most expensive hand shake in history. At the time the banks must have been aware because card payment wasn't... More
