I celebrated my 30th birthday here with my new husband and it was perfect. We arrived quite late and the staff were very helpful, making sure we were settled in our rooms and sorting out parking for us. Stayed one night here over the half term holidays. The staff were friendly and the location pretty - Fowey is a very charming town. We had a two night stay at The Old Quay House. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the bedrooms are lovely. We stayed in Room 5 which had a side/front view of the quay. It was £200 a night, and had tea/coffee etc available. The bathroom only has a shower, no bath - just in case you like a bath.... more

If you have read anything bad about this gem of a hotel forget it, we stayed 3 nights in a standard room which was brill then moved to superior room for 2 nights this room was fabulous with veiws of the estuary the staff were very well informed and friendly, can`t wait to book our next visit. more
