This must be the 12th time we have stayed at the Quay House over the last few years and we return every year, sometimes more than once, because we are never disappointed. Martin and his staff are attentive, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We usually stay in room 12 but didn't book early enough this time and went... More

Lovely hotel, lovely clean, spacious modern room. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. We were very satisfied with our stay and wished we had stayed longer. The location was great, handy for all the shops and restaurants, not to mention the harbour.

Comfortable clean room, great breakfast. Staff were also friendly and happy which makes a big difference. Would definitely stay here again. Parking a bit of a walk away but not the end of the world. Loved the relaxing background music at breakfast, thank you!

Lovely waterfront location - and on a very busy evening during Regatta Week - it was the only eatery to have lots of available tables on the patio -- hmmm. Plastic imitation wicker tables and chairs a bit off putting. Food was a bit pricey. Starter - Pork Belly -was fabulously tasty but portion was tiny. Mains of Pan seared... More

some hotels claim to be (a Boutique hotel), they seldom are, however the old quay hotel is the genuine article, we stayed in the penthouse for 7 nights and have to say what a fantastic room it is (the photos do not do it justice), when we walked into the room my wife became emotional,a wonderful sitting room ,beautiful bathroom,separate... In the midle of August my son and I decided to get out of London for a short break. We were delighted to find such a hidden gem at short notice. We were met at the train station late (after 11pm) by a taxi arranged by the Hotel reception staff and quickly /efficiently checked in by the night duty staff.... More

After a rather disappointing elderflower cocktail ( lacking any wow factor) and airplane sized coke ( appropriately priced tho') on the fantastic terrace earlier in the week we approached dinner with a degree of trepidation. This was somewhat unfounded. I had the Catch of the Day(Hake) on a mussel chowder and my wife had the Mackerel fillets on chorizo (etc)... More

We managed to get a table on the terrace in the sun, overlooking the beautiful estuary, we ordered a simple lunch and a couple of well earned drinks, the staff were courteous and attentive, the food, sandwiches and moules mariniere, was very well presented and tasty. My wife and I had been here some years earlier and were pleased to... More

The hotel's website recommends that you drive into the centre of town and stop outside the hotel to drop off luggage and pick up the car park permit, sounds easy doesn't it? Not so, the quaint streets of Fowey are a nightmare particularly in holiday season - extremely narrow and windy, often pavementless and swarming with visitors. Stopping outside proved... More

We stayed in room 4 and had a lovely 5 days. Food was great and staff very helpful. Thanks especially to martin and frankie and all the staff for making our stay a trip to remember. The weather let us down but hotel provided us with umbrellas and raincoats which was great. Would definitely stay again.
