This is a lovely little hotel, albeit pricey, but we booked it through a Travelzoo dinner bed and breakfast deal. We stayed in Room 2 which was quite small but perfectly adequate. The room was furnished with lovely little touches such as raincoats in the wardrobe should you need them and an umbrella. There was a fridge in the hall... More

Stayed for one night. Room was smart - light, white, cream, airy with huge & very comfy bed. Really "cool" & "boutique". The breakfast was one of best I've had, top notch ingredients and beautifully served. Made me sorry we didn't eat there the night before (went to the bistro next door). Outside decking overlooking the water was lovely mid... More

I won't write a long review as previous reviewers have said it all already. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely overnight break at this gorgeous hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome indeed. Although the our room did not face the estuary it didn't really matter as it was very comfortable... More

I stayed here for one night in Sept 2013. I stayed on the first floor in the room facing the street. The hotel staff, both on reception and in the bar and restaurant, are extremely friendly, helpful and genuine. The room was cosy, with a very comfortable (if a little creaky, and I'm not THAT heavy...) bed. It was spotless,... More

I was fortunate enough to be taken to this hotel by my partner, to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we arrived until we checked out mid morning the following day, the whole experience was excellent and my goal us to return again soon. This is a very stylish and well maintained hotel sitting right on the edge of Fowey's... More

Romantic is the best way to describe this waterfront hotel and the spacious Room 12 affords lovely views up and down the Fowey River, well worth the extra cost! Twinkling lights at night and bright sun (for our visit anyway) during the day, reflecting off the water. Suitably white painted, with lots of wicker work, the room was fab and... More

We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed our stay despite the weather. The hotel is right in the middle of Fowey looking out onto the river. The rooms are smallish, which is what we expected, but they are stylishly decorated. The room comes with two sets of wet weather gear and we needed them! Our only moan... More

Dear TravelNuBristol, Thank you very much for your comments and we are glad your enjoyed your stay with us. I would just like to say you are correct in that we do hat we do have limited public space in the hotel, especially during the winter time when access to our Riverside terrace is not available, However, since your stay... We spent a night at The Old Quay Hotel as a Valentine's getaway and we weren't disappointed. We parked in the nearby private car park whilst we unloaded our bags and from the moment we stepped into the Hotel we were given detailed instructions (and a parking permit) to find the hotel's allocated car park. They took our bag to... More

We spent two night at this beautiful, small boutique hotel in Fowey. The location in the very heart of the town is great. We enjoyed sitting on the terasse directly on the waterfront, having coffee or sipping a glass of wine. Cuisine is excellent, staff and owner(?) very friendly and helpful. The Old Quay Hotel already is worth to come... More
