We stayed two nights in room 12 this is the room to go for fabulous views. This is a boutique hotel with lots of nice touches like waterproof coats in the wardrobe, binoculars to get the best of the view. The food id very good indeed and I like the choice of a bacon sandwich for breakfast rather than the... More

We have just returned from a lovely stay in the hotel. We have been to Fowey many times and have stayed in various hotels and b&b's. This definitely wins on location and being so close to shops and restaurants. I have only given it 4 as our room was small and very hot, especially the bathroom and there was no... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in a superior room which had a small balcony over looking the Fowey harbour and estuary. The room is a good size with a nice size bathroom. My wife wasn't keen on the shower as its a circular glass type with a rain shower as she found it hard to shower without... More

This hotel is probably not for everybody, depending upon what you expect when you go on holiday, for myself and my sister it was exactly want we wanted as this time we preferred a lovely quaint hotel in the middle of a small town where we could pop out for a wander around the town or into any of the... Just had a lovely few days at this hotel , the staff were brilliant ,the food was brilliant , and room 6 was brilliant with two opening corner doors over the river, we had beautiful sunshine and it was lovely to sit in the morning with the doors open looking out at the river . The bathroom was large with... More

We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff, helped with our cases. The room was lovely, with wonderful views. Food was excellent. But like all places it is the staff that makes or breaks the hotel - and the staff at this hotel are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. I can't comment on the price of the hotel, as it... More

We booked out the hotel for our wedding. Martin and the team were fantastic, from helping with the planning to sorting bags, arranging taxis and making sure we had a perfect time. He, Ben the chef and the whole team commended by all our party

This hotel advertises itself as boutique luxury. We stayed in a standard double room for 3 nights at £190 per night (Room 1). Whilst it carried a luxury price tag this room was by no means luxurious. The decor was bland and the room small. Furniture was cheap looking. The bed was very comfortable and pillows good. Bathroom was large... More

Modern and contemporary hotel with very good facilities and service central to Fowey. Great views over the river from our upgraded room. Very good food and relaxed atmosphere. Late April was a great time to escape with fortunate weather, and a quieter experience. Very relaxing and would definitely recommend.

Stopped for a light lunch. We were lucky enough to have s table overlooking the harbour. The sun was shining and the it was all very relaxed. We both started with artichoke soup which was delicious, followed by haddock fishcakes on a bed of spinach, my partner had the Hake, which wax fresh and moist. The staff were so friendly... More
