Great food; wonderful views across the estuary to Fowey; Pascale the French landlord and owner was an excellent host; 3 good Cornwall ( Sharp's ) real ale ; staff all very helpful and polite; lovely walks around to Polruan and longer to Polkerris; a great couple of days visit. If only the heater in the bathroom was working ( this... More

The Old Ferry Inn was reached down winding, twisty roads, and was worth the effort. The main issue was where to park the car, as we couldn't see a sign. There is a car park up the hill from the inn which we were glad of as parking is limited on the road. The room had a wonderful view of... More

A very enjoyable experience in this beautifully situated pub/hotel/restaurant. The location is special and with easy access to Fowey by ferry, (although the ferries cease at 7 pm in Winter). The hotel was clean, comfortable, had great views and very friendly and patient staff. We planned to eat only on our first night in the hotel restaurant but it was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with travel zoo voucher, couldn't really fault it, food, rooms all OK. Took the ferry across into Fowey (1-70 for foot crossing) Nice little Cornish resort! We stayed with friends for the weekend, all staff were very welcoming, maybe the rooms could do with a lick of paint but we enjoyed the break Thanks!!

Stayed at the Old Ferry Inn on 25th & 26th Nov and had a great time, the inn has charm and character located right next to the river. We had a good room which was comfortable with a nice view down the estuary. Meals at the Old Ferry Inn are outstanding, a substantial breakfast and exceptional evening meals. A short... More

Really nice oldie worldie inn. We had Room 11 which was quite small with limited view of the estuary. I would definitely recommend people to ask for a front facing room- Room 3 or 8 of if a family, room 1. These all had wonderful views over the estuary. Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice if food as was... More

We stayed in the old ferry inn 21 and 22 November 2014. A traditional Cornish Hotel. We arrived mid afternoon and was greeted by a very nice lady who said we could park either outside (if we could find a space as the road very narrow and had yellow lines) or at the top of the hill where they had... Our two day stay was spoiled somewhat by the room we were allocated. Only view was over the top of the utility / kitchen area, large extractor fan running noisily most of day. Boiler or a commercial freezer switching on and off most of night. Space in room was good but decoration was very tired with evidence of damp. Hotel... More

We ate here at the end of a self catering week nearby and had been looking forward to it. The food did not dissapoint, the crab bisque was superb, a real taste of crab with heavy hints of sherry in the aftertaste, really good. My burger was also excellent though after the bisque, was too much so be warned, portions... More
