My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of March. First impressions are very favourable, lovely old building and traditional pub which is rare to find these days since the birth of the Gastro Pub. Service was very good and staff very helpful. We had an enjoyable stay here and the food was fantastic, my husband... More

We are glad to hear that you had an enjoyable stay with us. It is pleasing for the mention you gave to our helpful staff and that you ate well - in particular that our Fish & Chips passed muster! We also think that we have a lovely old building in a very beautiful part of South East Cornwall; the... More

We stayed for 2 nights in early March and had a delightful time exploring the local area and farther afield. We found the staff particularly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. We eat in both evenings and found the food excellent with a good choice for all tastes. Breakfast set us up for the day. The... More

Two night stay in March. Good and helpful welcome from Peter who showed us round and during our stay was always close to hand including the bar. He said he was 42!!! strange as we thought he was 27? Our bedroom had a lovely view of the river and Fowey, but the shower lacked pressure. WIFI available in bar and... More

We stayed at the Old Ferry Inn as a couple mid week in March. We were greeted by Peter in the bar area. He started by taking us on a tour of the hotel's public areas. He explained that we could eat in any area or the restaurant. He then took our bag up to our room. The room was... More

My husband and I just spent three days at the Old Ferry Inn. It's a very welcoming place, our room was comfortable with a great power shower and everywhere is spotless. The views from around the various public rooms are amazing and we had a lovely side river view from our bedroom window. What made this hotel, apart from its... More

We stayed here on New Years Day and had a fabulous time. The location is stunning and we enjoyed the added bonus of the raucous but wonderful annual lifeboatmen's auction and sing song. Our room was cosy and lovely with a gorgeous view across to Fowey. Dinner in the restaurant was truly superb. Very generous portions and utterly delicious. The... More

A party of 7 on the Travelzoo deal. What great value. The old rooms are a bit tired, although the beds were very comfortable. The newer rooms looked good. Peter was brilliant and very helpful. The food on both nights was good value and tasty. Will look out for the next offer!

We have just returned from 2 nights here. We stated last year with the same travel zoo deal and again we weren't disappointed. What great value for money. Fabulous location with lovely views of the river. Really friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms in a charming old pub. Would definitely recommend it and we plan to visit every year... More
