I stayed at the Fowey Hotel for three nights with my husband in June. We were initially concerned about the parking situation as there was no parking availability at the hotel when we booked. However, seeing the tight spaces and how people have to manouvre to get in and out of them, we were glad to not have one. This... more

This was the first time we had stayed at this hotel - received recommendations from friends abourt Fowey - but actually chose the hotel from reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. We were picked up from the station by Stewart - the hotel concierge - who was extremely helpful - as indeed were all the staff - throughot our... more

Just spent a weekend here with my partner and parents and couldn't wish for a better hotel. The perfect location helps but it was a real delight to find a hotel with excellent standards of traditional service (without any measure of stuffiness, which you can find in other hotels). All the hotel, restaurant and bar staff were outstanding. I 've... more

A fabulous one night stay in March, super room (upgraded) with 4 poster and amazing view with huge bay window over the river to Polruan, small spa bath as well. Relaxing, luxurious and super attentive staff, without being anoying. Dinner in the resturant very enjoyable, despite the lack of many dessert choices, coffee in the lounge by the fire too.... more

We stayed for weekend break, after a recomendation & reading reviews. Staff friendly & helpful. Room clean & well presented. Lovely to sit & watch boats coming & going. Breaskfast was good. Would reccomend booking hotel parking, its an easy walk to centre of Fowey (about 10mins). Good hotel in a good location. more

We stayed in Room 305 for three nights on a Spring Garden Break (DBB + entry to a garden attraction: we went to Eden, 15 minutes drive away) and really enjoyed it. Our room was cosy and with a stunning view across the inlet, albeit from a slightly small window. The food was excellent, with lots of fresh fish on... more

Rooms: We stayed in a room that was billed as having 'sea views'. It did, but only if you stood up - the room (306) was in the top, attic, floor and therefore the windows were very high. You could not see anything when you sat down to read a book or newspaper - not what we had in mind... more

The staff at this hotel are absolutely wonderful - nothing is too much trouble for them. We were there for our Silver wedding anniversary. We had a standard room at the back of the hotel and the view wasn't great. It would probably be worth paying the extra to have views over the estuary but it was clean, well furnished... more

I had a perfectly nice stay at the Fowey Hotel but it is an old building with paper thin walls so may not be advisable for light sleepers. It's a traditionally decorated hotel with old world charm as well as having all mod-con's. The room was fine, clean & tidy. The staff were all very friendly. I only ate breakfast... more
