A fabulous one night stay in March, super room (upgraded) with 4 poster and amazing view with huge bay window over the river to Polruan, small spa bath as well. We stayed for weekend break,after a recomendation & reading reviews. Staff friendly & helpful. Room clean & well presented. Lovely to sit & watch boats coming & going. Breaskfast was good. Would reccomend booking hotel parking, its an easy walk to centre of Fowey (about 10mins). Good hotel in a good location. more

Rooms: We stayed in a room that was billed as having 'sea views'. It did, but only if you stood up - the room (306) was in the top, attic, floor and therefore the windows were very high. You could not see anything when you sat down to read a book or newspaper - not what we had in mind... more

The staff at this hotel are absolutely wonderful - nothing is too much trouble for them. We were there for our Silver wedding anniversary. We had a standard room at the back of the hotel and the view wasn't great. It would probably be worth paying the extra to have views over the estuary but it was clean, well furnished... more

I had a perfectly nice stay at the Fowey Hotel but it is an old building with paper thin walls so may not be advisable for light sleepers.
