I booked this as it's in an ideal location from Beamish. It was a birthday treat for my mums birthday and I booked a couple of the mezzanine rooms. They are so spacious and it feels like a posh hotel suite without the price tag. The owner (Emily) is so friendly and can't do enough for you. I asked in... More

Ideally placed on the country roads between Lamesley and Kibblesworth is the tranquil surroundings of Park Farm. Good location for trips to the Metro Center and Beamish Museum, although only a 20 minute drive from Newcastle and Durham. Hospitable staff, reasonably priced family run accommodation, with an unusual layout to the stable conversions. Very clean with comfortable beds, excellent quality... More

This hotel is a little gem. I received a very warm welcome even though I was very late checking in. For the price I paid I was expecting to find the very basic accommodation, but was extremely happy to be taken to a beautifully clean and well presented room with all the trimmings of a more expensive hotel. Really comfy... More

Lovely hotel in relaxing surroundings but close enough to visit the attractions. Owner very helpful and friendly. Wished we stayed more nights instead of just passing through. Lovely rooms in converted outbuilding. Home from home.

Lovely location within easy reach of many places and attractions. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I would have loved a mini fridge in the room but apart from that no faults at all. Delicious egg and bacon muffins!

Excellent rooms with lounge area downstairs and huge bed upstairs. Great breakfast with ax much coffee as you can drink and as much toast as you can eat (!). Extremely helpful zinc friendly hosts. Situated 10 mins from Newcastle centre. Stayed twice and will definitely stay again

My husband and I have stayed here before and we weren't disappointed this time either. The room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast are really superb and Emily is so thoughtful - everything you need is on hand. We had a great visit and the surroundings are beautiful. Would go back anytime.

The hotel is ideal for touring the North East. Minutes from the A1 but you would not know it. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The only very small irritations were the earliest booking in of 4.00pm and the fire exit lights above the bed could cause some people a disturbed sleep. The breakfast was superb. We would... More

Having read the reviews before booking, obviously great things are expected. This B&B delivers all it promises. The location is quiet and yet hugely conveninent. It really is only a short drive into Gateshead/Newcastle and just off the A1. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and equipped; the owners are friendly and yet discrete and the breakfast excellent. The only... More

We stayed one night whilst visiting our daughters performance at The Sage. The room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed and excellent en suite. A lovely breakfast was cooked to order. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We shall certainly stay here when we visit again.
