After 2 weeks of differing accommodation Riding Farm was a Home away From Home. Angus and Louise are exceptional hosts(Thank you) Although Louise giggles quite a lot. Rooms were extremely comfortable. The most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The Location is perfect for relaxing. Once again thank you Angus and Loiuse exceptional value.

Two nights at Riging Farm for mid week break, great location, great accommodation and GREAT hosts, Angus and Louise made us very welcome and Angus does a great breakfast. Close to Beamish which is well worth spending a day or two.

We booked for a 2 night stay bed & breakfast. On arrival we were greeted by Louise who told us she was upgrading us to Riding cottage. The cottage was fantastic, log fire in the living room and beamed ceilings in the bedroom, well equipped with everything you would have at home. We were so impressed we stayed another night..The... We stayed here with friends for 2 nights and shared a lovely 2 bed cottage. It was very clean and tidy, very well equipped and very cosy. The hosts were most accommodating and provided us with a great breakfast on both mornings. It is very well located (close to Beamish which was superb) in a lovely setting and is very... More

We stayed here while visiting family in Newcastle and could not have picked a better b and b Despite arriving very late at night we were made incredibly welcome with drinks and a chat , it felt as though we were being welcomed into a friends home. The room was lovely with a calming view over the fields. The atmosphere... More

Stayed here for one night. In the middle of the country so nice & quiet. Lovely house, lovely owners & our bed was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was tasty, quite a selection to choose from & plenty of jams to sample. Very nice stay.

Louise gives a really warm and personal welcome to her 18th century farmhouse. The farm is set in lovely countryside that you can walk in, but is only minutes from the A1 an so is very accessible for Gateshead and Newcastle, Durham, rural Northumberland and for the Angel of the North. The room was attractively and appropriately decorated and furnished... More

We were visiting friends in the Newcastle area and wanted somewhere "decent" to stay for three nights. We stayed the first night at the Best Western Gibside but quickly decided it wasn't for us. I had wanted to book Ridings Farm but there was no availability for three nights, it was half-term for many schools. We decided that we would... More
