We stayed at this lovely b&b for one night - wish it had been longer! Friendly hosts Lynn and Mike made us feel at home. From umbrellas in the porch ( weather was on Amber alert!) to the already burning wood stove - we settled in instantly! The double bedroom had gorgeous comfy bed and bedding! Fab bathroom ( wetroom)... More

Wonderful B&B with fabulous facilities. Struggled to find accommodation that suited my elderly mum who although still quite active is better when everything is on one level. High Tarn Green fits that bill perfectly. We shared a large twin room with en suite wet room. Our room and a double room shared a large sitting/dining room. Breakfast and evening meals... More

The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. We were worried because i am a wheelchair user as to wether the accomadation would be suitable. We... More

Thanks to Mike and Lynn, for making us so welcome at their b + b. It truly was home from home. Breakfast was fit for a king. Nothing too much trouble. Always there for advice. We stayed in the twin ensuite conservatory room. The conservatory was for dining and relaxing, into the bedroom, and onto the wet room. Fantastic facilities.... More

My 11 year old daughter, our small dog and I recently stayed at High Tarn Green. I would say that Lyn and Mike are the perfect hosts who created a very homely and friendly environment for their guests. This was the first time we took our dog on holiday with us and the location was just perfect for the dog.... More

Just back from a long weekend in The Lake District staying at High Tarn Green B&B. We wanted somewhere that would welcome our springer spaniel too and Lyn & Mike couldn't be more welcoming. We arrived later than expected but were welcomed with coffee and cake which was lovely and we also booked an evening meal for our 1st night... More
