Thanks to Mike and Lynn, for making us so welcome at their b + b. It truly was home from home. Breakfast was fit for a king. Nothing too much trouble. Always there for advice. We stayed in the twin ensuite conservatory room. The conservatory was for dining and relaxing, into the bedroom, and onto the wet room. Fantastic facilities.... More

My 11 year old daughter, our small dog and I recently stayed at High Tarn Green. I would say that Lyn and Mike are the perfect hosts who created a very homely and friendly environment for their guests. This was the first time we took our dog on holiday with us and the location was just perfect for the dog.... More

Just back from a long weekend in The Lake District staying at High Tarn Green B&B. We wanted somewhere that would welcome our springer spaniel too and Lyn & Mike couldn't be more welcoming. We arrived later than expected but were welcomed with coffee and cake which was lovely and we also booked an evening meal for our 1st night... More

From the very start of our holiday at Tarn Green B@B we were made to feel very welcome, from getting lost on route to Tarn Green and rescued by Mike, we are usless with sat nav, and have gone back to good old maps more reliable. We had many a chuckle and chats about the countryside, suggested places to visit... More

We recently had our second stay with Lyn and Mike and they gave us exactly the same warm welcome as before. We had a different room this time, but with the same high standards of comfort and cleanliness, excellent furnishings and a very comfortable bed. We slept better than we do at home! After a day out, there was nothing... More

We have just come back from a three night stay at High Tarn Green. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome by Lyn and Mike. The property is set in beautiful countryside and the peacefulness is amazingly relaxing, combined with good food (breakfast and evening meals) and an excellent bed we had the best nights sleep... High Tarn Green Bed and Breakfast is about 6 miles (9 km) north of the village of Lindale. I recommend this Bed and Breakfast because it is clean, quiet, reasonably comfortable, and good value for money (£25 per person per night in August 2011). We slept well in their beds. It is in a part of the Lake District National... More
