We have just come back from a weekend at Ruslands B&B. We stayed there because we were exhibiting at the Holker Flower Festival. What can I say, nothing is too much trouble for Hazel and Hanson. What a lovely couple, what great hospitality, we were offered tea and cakes when we first arrived, but as we had been working all... More

Many thanks to Hazel and Hanson for their warm welcome and 5-star accommodation. Comfortable, immaculately kept rooms, and a great breakfast, as well as their own friendly hospitality: we couldn't have asked for better. Flookburgh proved to be an excellent base from which to explore the many attractions of Southern Cumbria. We would unhesitatingly recommend 'Rusland' to those who like... More

Hazel and Hanson are a wonderful couple who obviously like people! Breakfast was scrumptious. Hazel made sure that what food we wanted was available.... More

I won two nights bed and breakfast at the 'Rusland', donated by Hazel and Hanson the owners. I live locally so I knew the area. We had a wonderful time, we were made very welcome and enjoyed every minute. We will be sure to recommend their bed and breakfast to everyone. A true home from home.

Hazel and Hanson gave us the warmest welcome ever in UK! Just back from their holidays the day before, home made scones and gingerbread were waiting us. Sharing tea with them was such a lovely moment, they know and really enjoy receiving guests and make you naturally feel being home. If you have always dreamed falling asleep next to a... More

Some of the best B&B's/Homestays in the world are in New Zealand..However if you're looking for something just as good in the UK...DO visit Hazel and Hanson at Rusland B&B in the Southern Lake District, Cumbria.U.K. Fantastic hospitality, nothing forgotten....great views and barely 10mins from the wonderful Lakes. Take my word ...you won't be disappointed.
