We stayed here for one night on our way to Newcastle. Norman and Suzie are wonderful hosts, providing a warm welcom and cup of tea on arrival. Large, warm comfortable room with the nicest shower I have ever had away from home. Breakfast is huge and beautifully presented. We seriously considered changing our plans, giving Newcastle a miss and staying... More

We visited for the third time and Norman and Susie were as wonderful as ever. It has all been said before so all we can say is a full recommendation to anyone who wants a lovely break in the Vale of Belvoir.

This B&B really has everything you could possibly want and more. We have stayed in 5* hotels with less facilities. The room was spacious the bed very large with comfy chairs to sit on. Tea and coffe making of course but also a small fridge. Separate area with mirror, power and seat for hair doing and/or makeup. Excellent TV and... More

We stayed here for a cricket match and dinner at the castle and we could not have been happier with our choice. The hospitality was just the best we have had anywhere. So was the breakfast. So was the suite. We stayed for just two nights and wished we could have stayed for a week. Congratulations to Suzie and Norman... More

Stayed here last weekend and couldn't have been more impressed if I'd tried. Where to begin with the superlatives? I'll start with Norman and Suzie, the delightful couple who own and run Belvoir Vale. They made us feel like house guests; our every need; nay whim, was met with friendliness, good humour and efficiency. The suite we stayed in (room... More

It would be very hard indeed to beat the hospitality and quality of this amazing bed and breakfast. Wonderful peaceful location and a welcome that made me wish I'd stayed for longer. Probably the best breakfast in England!

Another lond day in the saddle (cycle) brought me to this charming little hideaway. Norman was a man full of useful information about local pubs, local roads and local canal paths. (Don't believe him when he says the pub's only 15 minutes away along the canal path! It took me 25 minutes - but a lovely stroll nonetheless) The room... More

Staying here is a fabulous experience of 'detailed luxury'. Suzie and Norman are the masters of hospitality. The cottage is a delight with a garden to match. Long may they continue. We already have planned our next visit to UK to include a return visit.
