Altgough we had stayed in Grantown on Spey before, this was our first (but certainly not our last) visit to Ravenscourt House Hotel. As we stepped in the door, we were met wth a very friendly and warm welcome, The hotel room was excellent....no other words for it ! Immaculately decorated and with everything needed for a comfortable stay, all... more

We had booked 3 rooms for a weeks stay, I can only say that it was the best thing we had done for ages. We were looked after and pampered from the word go for the whole week, nothing was to much trouble for the owners and staff. The bedrooms were immaculate and extremely comfortable with lovely little extras in... more

As soon as we arrived at Ravenscourt House and was warmly greeted by Keith and Sheila we knew that we had chosen a good hotel to stay at. The hotel has excellent public rooms, which are comfy and well decorated. The restaurant and breakfast room in the conservatory is a delightful place to dine being bright and light and comfortable.... more

The worst feature of this Hotel was the authoritarian, arrogant and grudging attitude of the proprietors. Charming on the telephone, but different during our stay. Little attempt was made to accommodate even our simplest wish, and even then the response was resentful. We felt we were more tolerated than welcomed. Dinners (three nights in a row) were poorly cooked and... more

We booked a stay of three nights at this Hotel as we wished to be well placed for a visit to Royal Deeside as well as the Cairngorms. Keith and Shelia have owned the Ravensourt House Hotel for just about a year now. Clearly there have been some minor changes made to the facilities offered referred to on a review... more

We stayed one night at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel room was very comfortable, dinner was terrific and Keith and Sheila were great hosts. The 15 minute walk down to the Spey river is a relaxing after-dinner stroll. If you enjoy scotch whiskey, be sure to take advantage of Keith's knowledge and recommendations. more

We had the pleasure of spending a few days at this hotel recently. The owners, Keith and Sheila were excellent hosts. The decor is beautiful, we also had our meals in the restuarant which were superb!! We will certainly be back and would highly reccommend this lovely hotel The Wilsons Glenrothes more

We stayed in Grantown on Spey just two nights at the Ravencourt House Hotel and wished it could have been longer. The owners could not have been more accommodating . The hotel and the grounds were breath taking. There is also a restarant called the Cairn , which we dined in both nights and have to say was simply the... more

We came to stay for one night, and ended up staying for four nights! The inside of the Hotel is luxurious, the new owners (Keith And Sheila) have spent so much time and effort on the detail, period furnishings and general look of the hotel. When you go through the door you feel like you are going into someone's home... more
