We called this B & B in advance and booked a double room. It was tastefully and beautifully appointed. We had a very comfortable night and felt luxurious. We knew in advance we would need to eat elsewhere and were given a number of possible menus to read and decide what might suit us. The area was outstanding in natural... More

We were very impressed when we got to Ravenscourt House Hotel. Andrew and his wife were very inviting and shared their local knowledge of Scotch Distilleries and restaurants to visit in the area. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds. My family took up four double rooms and they were all exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. We... More

Arrived without a booking (two couples) and pleased to find two rooms available although the downstairs room (with disability facilities) was very stuffy and without any obvious ventilation, the only window fixed shut as it opened to the breakfast room and a bathroom skylight which may or may not have been ventilated. The bed, however, was superb! We felt a... More

I stayed in this B&B ( not a hotel by any stretch of the imagination ). The welcome was very good, the house was warm but the prices were too high. We had a good breakfast. The room was spacious if a bit old fashioned. As we arrived in the area quite late we did not have time to be... More

Forget fancy high-tech frills, this is a cute and old-style charming guest house. The owners are very welcoming and warm. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, such a treat! Fresh orange juice and the best porridge I have ever had. The owners took such care and put a lot of love in their beautiful parlour, dining room and the breakfasts. The... More

We spent Easter weekend here and were very pleased. The room was very comfortable and clean. The landlord was friendly and welcoming. There was a great selection for breakfast and you won't go hungry. The hotel is gay friendly

My wife and I stayed at the Ravenscourt last week having decided to extend our post-wedding break in Scotland. It had been advertised on a last minute booking website as having just one room left, we decided to book into a "Premium Double". When we arrived it quickly came apparent that this wasn't the case, and that we had been... More

Stayed one night, very friendly welcome and service throughout, spotless hotel,, huge bathroom that was separate from our room but no inconvenience at all. Fabulous breakfast, we couldn't have asked for more, look forward to returning one day for a longer stay. Thankyou.

We stayed at this hotel whilst travelling widely in Scotland. The host was friendly. The hall, landings and lounge were lovely. The bedrooms were large with washbasins separate from the ensuites. The breakfast was pleasant and served in the conservatory, the concept of hot water to add to the tea and coffee was a very difficult one to get across... More
