This place is not worth £70 per night. Were really disappointed with our rooms. They were very dated, even the bedding and towels were old, and there was fitted carpets in the en suites (sink and toilet bowl turquoise coloured?????) Am sure the lovely Isobel and Gerald must be quids in since they are not using their earnings to update... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found the place met our basic needs. The room was clean with coffee and tea making available, and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was OK as far as it went but as we were top floor and under the slant of the roof I found myself giving my head a good knock once... More

The hosts Isobel and Gerald make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is delicious and the bed was very comfortable. There is free wifi and the centre of town is just a short walk away. The river Spey is a very attractive 10 minuite walk through a park and woods. Perfect for Birders! I would definitely stay there again.

Grantown-on-Spey is a great location to explore Speyside, the whiskey trail, the Cairngorns and historic places. We recently stayed at Waverley Villa with another couple, so the two rooms were perfect. The home is lovely and immaculately clean, close to shops and restaurants, and provides off-street parking. Breakfast was personalized and excellent. Gerald and Isobel were such fun and interesting... More

I recently stayed at Waverley Villa with my elderly father & my son. We were warmly welcomed by Isobel & Gerald. The B&B is spotlessly clean & comfortable. Our large breakfast was delicious. Plenty of off-street parking.

We have just returned from our second trip to Waverley Villas. Its a small family run guesthouse. Isobel and Gerald make their guests welcome and comfortable. The place is their home - it is spotlessly clean and there is ample parking out the front. The rooms are adequate and beds comfortable. Breakfast is a delightful affair, plenty of food -... More

I found this lovely place on internet. I wrote an email with query about stay and I had a positive response very quickly. I decided to go for it and I don't regret. After busy day at work I arrive to Waverley Villa and met nice and charming lady who showed me my room. The most cosy B&B which I... More

During a tour of the Highlands I needed to stop over in Grantown on Spey. Using Tripadvisor I noted the Waverley and decided to book in. I am glad that I did as the whole experience was first class. I was touring on my motorcycle and required somewhere with a garage available of under cover, I had the choice at... More

In the spring of this year, my friend and I stayed at the Villa for several nights in order to explore the Highlands. From the moment we stepped foot into the inn, from the moment that the lovely owners waved goodbye, we loved our stay here. Gerald and Isobel were extremely welcoming and hospitable, making sure that all of our... More

My friend and I stayed at Waverly Villa because of it's excellent location to local sights. Just a short drive to Inverness, the Cairngorm National Park, the Speyside Whiskey Trail, the Highlands, and Aviemore and other small cities are very close as well. The couple has two rooms available, we stayed in a room with a queen size bed and... More
