This is our second visit to Seafield Lodge Hotel. Our first vist being 3 years previous. Back then, our main gripe was lack of heating and hot water. We are pleased to report that this was not the case on this visit. Again we stayed in one of the Suites. We stayed in the Salmon Suite and there is really... more

This was our second trip to Grantown on Spey, so as before we decided to stay at the Seafield Lodge hotel again as it has loads of character. Like before we found the staff to be very friendly and polite, the family room we had was clean, tidy and comptable. the food was very good and the stay was great... more

We booked in at the hotel with assistance from the Tourist information office in Grantstown as they told us that rooms were booking up so quickly that day with the number of foreign tourists in the area. I hastily agreed to the booking worried that otherwise we may be without a bed for the night and paid £4 booking fee... more

In our 2 week holiday in Scotland this was the worst hotel we stay. Small and very old rooms. Smelly and the shower was full of hairs. The wall are so thin that you can't sleep with other guests "activities". To complement there was a dog barking somewhere under our room and noisy drinkers at the pub next door. The... more

We stayed in this Hotel and what to say........ The room was horrible. Tiny, smelly, the bed was broken with an old awful mattress. Everything in it looks tatty, old, damaged. The TV with no remote. The bathroom is a 1970's surviving example. If it's not easy to have a good night sleep on beds like that, the walls are... more

Hotel is nice but not quite what was expected from the photos on the site. In the middle of a street packed with Guest Houses and B&B's. We booked the salmon suite which was comfortable and clean. The jacuzzi bath is very 1970's but it did work a treat. Bed was 2 singles pushed together - dont sleep on the... more
