Stayed here in September as part of a group of tourists and found that it was awful, as did the majority of other group members. Rooms were cleanish (okay as long as you don't look under tables, behind furniture etc. Sraff were mostly schoolchildren. Food mediocre and mostly cold. We (two senior ladies and a younger couple) stayed one night at the Coppice in mid-September. The hotel is old and a little threadbare but our rooms were very comfortable. We had twin beds and our friends' room had a double. The beds were very comfortable, we had all the usual amenities (soap, shampoo, hair dryer, towel warmer, coffee/tea/snacks). The... more
