My teenage daughter and I arrived at Kinross House cold and tired after walking 17 miles on the Speyside Way from Aviemore--we received a wonderful warm welcome from Jane and Gary, and we felt much better after our stay--we only wished that we could have stayed with them in Grantpwn longer. The daily updated weather printout was very helpful for... more

There is no doubt about it, Kinross House deserves its long list of excellent reviews. The Kinross web site is better than most and our email seeking accommodation in July was met with a swift and friendly response from Jane. On arrival, soaked after a lengthy motorcycle trip, Jane had our gear in the drying room in double quick time.... more

Just returned from a fabulous weekend in Grantown-on Spey alas to short. Kinross House has got to be the most incredible B&B that we have experienced during many years of travel. The ratings say it all. The preparation and service of Breakfast undoubtly warrants the four star rating The attention to detail in bedrooms is unbelievable. Do not be afraid... more

From the moment we arrived Jane was on hand to help and advise us on our stay, the room was very nice comfortable clean and bright, perfect. The wet biking gear was taken and dried for us, very helpful, the lounge was extremely cosy and comfortable with a bookshelf full of local information, for walks, distillaries, local recommended restaurants, and... more

We certainly agree with all the 5 star reviews above. The house is stylish, immaculate, comfortable, cosy and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We do B&B a fair bit, on walking and cycling trips, and we thought the Kinross House breakfast was the best yet. The fresh fruit and their own mix of muesli / cream / yoghurt... more

I stayed here for one night with my Dad & Uncle (in their 80s), my cousin and his wife. Out of the 4 B&Bs that we stayed in, this was by far the best. A wonderfully warm welcome by the owner, Jane, in a beautifully restored Victorian house. I was intrigued by the acid etched windows in the dining room?... more

Kinross House is such an 'intelligent' B&B ! We were travelling with friends from Mexico and showing them a little of 'our' Scotland. We could not have begun in a better place. Grantown on Spey is well located for seeing the best of the sites not just in the immediate vicinity but over quite a large area of the North... more

Originally due to stay 5 nights. About 2 nights into stay, extended to 10 nights. Why leave when your not likely to find better. Grantown was a great location to base myself for touring every direction up to 100miles. Fantastic room quality. Attention to the small details. Would have to be the cleanest accommodation I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was... more
