Jayne the owner made us feel very at home and gave us loads of information about what to do locally. The room was homely and inviting, a stark contrast from many bland, generic hotel rooms. We paid a little extra for the 'luxury room' which gave us the top floor of the building to ourselves with a very nice bathroom.... More

Very good accommodation in quiet area near the centre of Grantown-on-Spey. Clean rooms, guest lounge and great breakfasts. Good base for visiting the Cairngorms National Park and to explore the Spey Valley and surrounding area.

A very warm and welcoming host and house. Very informative with lots of information available in various pamphlets and great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and a great location and a great breakfast. H. Calgary, Canada

We stayed here as part of a large walking group for two nights and enjoyed our time here very much. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property or returning to Dunallan House if we ever get back to this area. The original house has been extended to provide more guest accommodation. We stayed in the original part of the... More

A lovely guest house for a group of friends or family to stay. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable and clean. Lots of information on the surrounding area including leaflets and a folder in the living room. Grantown-on-Spey itself is a beautiful village with lovely walks and Craig's Bar across the road did delicious pies! May I also... More

A brilliant guest house. Jayne was really friendly and let us check in early. We had a nice room at the front of the house with a good ensuite. Very clean and comfortable and good breakfasts. Our dog was allowed with us which was a real bonus. Lovely decor and great information and books in the living room. Good location... More

Stayed for a couple of nights and this was a great location and house. Jayne was a wonderful host, the room was impeccably clean and Grantown was a lovely little town and a good central location for driving trips in the area. Highly recommend it.

A very welcoming guest house which was so comfortable. We found it the perfect place to stay, just 2 minutes walk from the main part of town yet very quiet. Great breakfasts. Just sorry that we didn't stay for longer. We'll be back.

A lovely, cosy guest house in this pretty village which is an ideal base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Although the furniture and decor is a little dated, our room was very clean and comfortable and the home made food was extremely good (especially the pecan/toffee muffins).... More

Thank you for taking time to leave your lovely review, its always good to get our guests feedback. You stayed in rm5 our Victorian room which is decorated & furnished in a period style that is in character with Dunallan House. Rooms 1, 2 & 7 have a more contempory & simple style of furnishing with luxury en-suites/bathrooms. These rooms... More
