Combining the comfort of a luxury hotel and all the personal care of the homiest B&B, The Dulaig exceeded our expectations even though these had been raised stratospherically high by all the glowing TA reviews. Hosts Carol and Gordon clearly appreciate the finer things in life themselves and thus understand the needs of a like-minded traveller. Every square inch of... More

We've stayed at The Dulaig many times now and it's still the best B&B we've ever stayed at. B&B is an inadequate description! Carol and Gordon are soooooo welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Everything about The Dulaig is just fantastic - we've never known anywhere else to make even breakfast feel romantic! The gardens and wildlife are just... More

We stayed here for three nights and wish we could have just moved in! Carole and Gordon treated us like old friends and were absolutely the best hosts. They've worked very hard to perfect their home and grounds. The Craftsman furnishings are authentic to the period of the house and their amazing garden should be on a garden tour. Their... More

Wow. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, Carol and Gordon at the Dulaig provided the best service, food and environment we have ever experienced in a guest house. The house and gardens are immaculate and the collection of Hens, ducks, pheasants and other wildlife provided much entertainment. Carol and Gordon made an amazing effort for one... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Torridon and wished we could have stayed longer. Carole and Gordon are the perfect hosts. A welcome cup of tea and cake set the tone for the rest of our stay. Beautifully furnished, luxurious bathroom, helpful hosts and a gogeous breakfast- what more can you want? Oh, and the hens... My husband and I stayed here last May for three nights, at the end of a week driving around Scotland. I think this is the best experience I've ever had at a B&B. Perfect rooms, warm and helpful hosts, and beautiful garden setting. Carole and Gordon were incredibly helpful and not at all intrusive. The breakfast spread was unbelievable -... More

stayed here for our wedding anniversary 2 years ago. (yes I know its taken me all this time to write a review). Carole and Gordon could not do enough for us. We arrived after having a bit of a nightmare in the week running up to our break where our car blew up mid tour of Scotland!! Spoke to them... More

We really appreciate that you took the time to write such a lovely review, thank you. We also appreciated and enjoyed that jar you brought us of delicious, floral-scented honey from your own bees! My partner and I have stayed at The Dulaig several times, but had never thought to write a review until now! Carol and Gordon are the perfect hosts; you won't get a warmer welcome anywhere else. The rooms are immaculate (and QUIET!) and the beds are extremely comfortable. Their large garden is a tranquil setting in which you can feed... More

This was our second stay with Carol and Gordon at The Dulaig. There could not be two more wonderful and welcoming hosts. The rooms are so comfortable, beautiful and well-appointed. The breakfast delicious. The gardens are spectacular and we enjoyed the menagerie of "pet" wildlife. You will not find a better place to stay in the whole of Scotland. It's... More

What a lovely review, thank you, and what lovely words. It was really lovely to see both of you again and we enjoyed catching up with the chat over a dram. We also enjoyed our "recipe swap" after your trip and will remember you each time we make the dishes you have sent us. I may even have to wear... More
