Every single bit of The Dulaig is wonderful. The garden and the summer house were our very favorite part, though and we spent a good deal of time in both. The breakfasts were simply divine. There is absolutely no other way to describe them. The room was spotless and immensely comfortable and very, very quiet at night. The windows opened... More

We recently spent 3 weeks in Scotland, staying at several B & B's throughout the country. The Dulaig was by far the the best of all. Hosts Gordon and Carol were so genuine, kind and helpful. I left feeling as though I'd made 2 new friends. I agree with prior reviews about the high quality beds, breakfast, daily treats and... More

I have fantisized about living in the Scottish Countryside. Coming home to a comfortable sitting room with a lovely view of a perfect garden with a cup of tea and a home made treat was just as I had imagined. My room was better than I had imagined because I had never slept on a hand tied mattress. The bathroom... More

This, without a doubt is a world class accomodation. I have traveled in over seventy countries and have spent an extensive time in the U.K. in some sixteen trips of over three weeks each. Our experience here was the best we have ever had and it was under a hundred pounds per room. U.K. travelers know how boring the standard... More

Fabulous house in the lovely village of Grantown on Spey. Our hosts, the owners Carol and Gordon, were gracious and welcoming. The gardens were in full bloom and beautiful. 10 minute walk to restaurants and shopping in the village center. Breakfast at the dulaig was cooked fresh professionally prepared at a time of our choosing. The room was fully modernized... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend our wedding anniversary at The Dulaig and couldn’t have wished for a more special experience in every way. Whatever I write about this wonderful place, with equally wonderful hosts, will do neither justice. Gordon and Carol are exceptional, delightful people. Amazingly generous hosts, who are clearly passionate about ensuring their guests... More

We stayed in Sep, 2013. There is absolutely NOTHING Carol and Gordon would not do for us. At the mere mention, they are offering to help. Gordon's special breakfasts were delicious and creative. Convenient location for the Whisky Trail.

We just returned from two glorious weeks in Scotland. Of all the "grand" hotels we stayed at, the Dulaig was our favorite. The warmth and hospitality of Carol and Gordon set the stage for their exquisite attention to detail, and generous offerings. This was the smallest room of any we stayed at, but it had wonderful appointments and a superb... More

I have never stayed in a B&B with so much attention to every single need a traveler might have. Carol thinks of everything. There is a small fridge with milk for coffee or tea provided in the room, sherry for a wee nightcap (whiskey in the dining room, as well), a sweet treat each day, etc. The beds are like... More

As other reviewers have said, five stars are not nearly enough to describe the incredibly special stay that Carol and Gordon provide, and any praise will fall short. Where to start? The house is a true gem, and you can feel the love in every detail, from the care Carol and Gordon have taken to restore it and furnish it... More
