We had a 4 night stay at Willowbank in sunny August! Not really much sun, but it is the Scots Highlands. We had a double ensuite room on the 1st floor. It was clean, looked just new, and fresh. I tried the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. The salmon was just great - it comes from the smokehouse... more

We have stayed with Chris and Anne on a few occasions and everytime we stay they always make us feel welcome. They have great local knowledge and the guesthouse is always very clean and tidy. Breakfast has alot of variety and they can cater to almost any need. Thanks again, we will be back more

We really enjoyed our stay at Willowbank. Anne and Chris were very welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The breakfasts were very good indeed and we were looked after well and efficiently. The guest house was well suited for a disabled guest,so we will return again if we are in the area. Many good restaurants close by. more

The welcome was lovely and the room was big although a bit basic. It was cold outside and I noticed the heating was on at around 6pm. Fine, but we went out for an early dinner, returning before 10pm and the room was freezing. We could not coax the radiator into life so the heating must have been turned off... more

Our first stay at Willowbank was for 2 nights during the Easter Holidays. We had a double, ensuite room on the first floor, overlooking the main road that runs through Grantown-on-Spey. There was some passing traffic but we did not notice any outside noise from our bedroom. We had a TV and tea/coffee making facilities and everything worked and was... more

Anne and Chris are great hosts who run their guest house professionally and with pride. The atmosphere is friendly and homely; the rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. The cooked breakfasts are excellent and are usually served in the long conservatory that runs almost the entire length of the beautiful, old, cottage-like building. more
