This was one of the best places we stayed on our vacation to Ireland and Scotland. Jan and Janny have a beautiful and comfortable guesthouse. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. They were so helpful with recommendations and so attentive to our needs. This is a fantastic location for touring distilleries and visiting castles.... More

I spent 3 nights here recently. I was warmly welcomed on arrival by the new owners Jan and Janny, a charming Dutch couple who have recently taken ownership of the guesthouse. I was offered a choice of 2 rooms and was very comfortable in an ensuite double room. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and my room was vacuumed and towels... More

We were given a very warm welcome by new owners Jan and Janny. We were shown to our room which had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, we can highly recommend the Spey Breakfast which has some of the tastiest smoked salmon we've ever had. It was great to see that Jan and Janny have spent the winter undertaking... More

Up in the highlands, in a small town of 2200 inhabants. On the mainstreet, walking distance to hotels where you can have dinner. We ordered one room en-suite and the second with bath outside (that was the only option). The owner, Anne, gave us a free upgrade to en-suite. They are closed in the winter.

Willowbank Guest House may be on the main street in town, but don't let that hold you back for a second. As "slightly elderly" travellers, we were assigned the ground floor room, and it turned out to be just for us - no stairs for our recent knee (me) and hip (she) replacements, and a lovely walk-in shower. The spotless... More

Grantown is very well situated for visits to all parts of Speyside and beyond and I was very pleased to have chosen Willowbank as our base for four nights. Ann and Chris gave us a warm welcome and an excellent breakfast every day. Our ground floor room was nicely furnished, large and comfortable with a good sized ensuite shower room.... More

We booked a 4 night stay at Willowbank and were very pleasantly surprised as to how warm the welcome was and the beds. Breakfast was a wonderful choice with juices, fresh fruit and cereal to help yourself to, cooked breakfast with a choice of how to have your eggs, continental breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on a toasted muffin.... This was not my first stay at Willowbank and will certainly not be my last. Chris and Anne are extremely friendly and have a fantastic attitude. They are extremely knowledgable about the local area which is very advantageous for people visiting the area. The rooms are very clean and tidy and the breakfasts are amazing!
