I stayed a this hot, as I was attending a funeral. And it was convenient to stay there. I was delighted to find such a lovely hotel which was located in the Square, located in the centre of Grantown. The room was welcoming and cosy. The bed and pillows were perfect. Dinner was very good and value for money. Breakfast... More

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A special mention for Heidi who was very kind to my ageing mother in law and served me some exquisite whisky. The room was comfortable and the food was excellent. The chef can really cook a good steak (amongst other things)... More

A truly Hogmanay in bonnie Scotland! It was our second visit to this friendly hotel in a beautiful location. Attentive and understanding restaurant staff enabled my husband and I not to miss the talk in the evening. Food served in the restaurant was the right quantity. Fantastic New year spent. It is an historic building which accommodated Queen Victoria and... More

This was our second visit to The Grant Arms and it certainly won't be our last. This time we went for an extended Hogmanay break and it was everything we had hoped for. The accommodation, food, service and ambience was first class and the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner & Ceilidh Dancing was wonderful. Then to top it off it... More

Cosy, warm and friendly! We had a great week over New Year, super evening and right at the heart of the New year celebrations in the square, with so many friendly people. Good food with efficient service. Clean and comfortable bedrooms with very good sleep quality. Bonus that the Birdwatching and wildlife club is based in the hotel, great activities... More

Our first visit to this hotel which specialises in birding and wildlife, with a variety of birding walks and talks over the period by first class guides and experts. The hotel takes its lead from General Manager David Duncan, who is a warm host and incidentally quite a loss to the acting profession. The hotel is what it is -... More

Fabulous friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and great food. New Year Celebrations in style, including the manager reciting The Address to the Haggis. Very enjoyable. Talks by wildlife/ bird experts and guided walks were very good.
