Our bowls club has been staying at this hotel for a few years and have found it good value. This year I personally saw a big improvement, some of the rooms have been renovated , the food was good and the staff were hardworking, friendly and efficient. I believe much of this is due to the new manager Teresa who... more

What a dump, stayed at this hotel in September for a short break with friends. On arrival the first thing you notice about this place is the overpowering musky stink everywhere you go. Its like the hotel has not seen a lick of paint since the 1970s, the decor in the rooms is basic to say the least, rock hard... more

I read the other reviews of the hotel and immediately thought "Oh no" However ,having stayed at the hotel, I can ony assume some other guests normally frequented five star hotels and perhaps cannot now afford them. The room, staff, meals, entertainment and owner, John, were all very good. John,s bingo calling is an act of its own. In all an excellent holiday... more

The stay in this hotel was the worst experience of my life, the room was dirty, carpet was not fitted properly, shower did not work. Army type blankets were on the bed, toilet was placed on top of a work surface on the bathroom floor. The food was of poor quality, waitress was serving water to a table she had her fingers... more
