I would just like to make comments that the hotel was great, staff fantastic, food very good value and presented well. Value for money and great for the family. Nothing too much trouble for the staff and great recpetion foyer entrance. Total customer service which is nice to see in this day and age. more

My partner and I stayed in the Comfort on a recent trip to see family. We wanted our own space and therefore all we needed it for was a bed for the night. The room was clean and as expected. Comfy bed and extra pillows if needed. I would have appreciated hot chocolate sachets in the room. There was a... more

The location is perfect - just off the beach in a side road so that not noisy. Parking was tight the first 2 days - had to park in the street. Reception staff have their ways but are fine once you adjust to them and they become quite helpful. The rooms were clean and were redone every day to a... more

Having travelled around europe.i had the chance to visit quite a number of cities, towns and villages.I however will never experience the likes of the night porter in the comfort inn at Great Yarmouth. It would seen that the hotel at night was his own little domain and how dare anyone task him with a specific chore!!!Although during normal working hours the... more

I like to book chain hotels when I stay somewhere new as you're pretty guaranteed on a level of service. The Comfort Hotel, however, definitely had a slight "Fawlty Towers" feel about it, but there was nothing that wrong with it. The whole hotel was a little dated with rather old furniture in the (small) rooms. It was very clean... more

A general air of being uncared for and unloved. Despite being bought by Choice Hotels this hotel (which once was called the Dolphin) seems to be anchored in the 1980s. Room was pretty small with a double bed and not enough room to walk round the end of the bed once there was also a chair in the room. Being... more

I stayed in this hotel on the 20th of March for 1 night with my husband and 7 year old son. The staff were all friendly, the rooms were clean and the food, especially the breakfast was lovely. Even better the price of a pint of Stella was cheaper than back home in Shropshire! The negative was the awful stained... more
