We stopped at Sandcastles the day before going on the Broads. Lovely, hotel! We had a small double bedroom which was ideal with everything you could need. Breakfast was extremely high quality as was the service. Very reasonably priced accomodation and this was our first visit to Great Yarmouth, which I thought was a wonderful, clean resort. I would highly... More

Stayed at Sandcastles for a long weekend in August, with my husband and our 2 children (aged 11 and 6). Was given a parking permit upon arrival and shown were we could park, (plently of parking available). Was very welcoming, asked about the children and explained that they had children too, and there were other children staying in the b&b.... More

We stayed at this B&B bank holiday weekend, and can genuinely find no fault. On arrival we were advised of where to park and the surrounding area. Joanne made a big fuss of our children 3 & 5 years and showed them where there were toys and DVD's for them to use. We were shown to our room, which was... More

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and 7 year old daughter. Made to feel very welcome immediately. Rooms clean, beds comfy, tea & coffee making facilities and free view TV with a DVD player. Ideally situated for everything, I did not use a bus or taxi once. Fantastic value for money and will definitely stay again.

We chose this B&B mainly because of the excellent reviews and then looking at the price £48 per night (Very Cheap) we booked. Upon arrival the host wasn't as welcoming as we were led to believe on reading several reviews, more interested in observing another family on the road. We were checked-in and shown the room - Room 2. The... More

Unfortunately I had to knock the door of this couple at 10.30am on the day of departure and ask them if they were ready to check out, they were not yet dressed and seemed to feel that they have been greatly inconvenienced. They had voiced not a single problem in two days until coming down to pay and check out... More

Even though we only stayed one night, we were very impressed with this delightful, family run guesthouse. The location is perfect: a 2 min walk from the seafront. We stayed in the family room which had a double bed and a bunk bed. Everything was cleaned to a high standard: the bedclothes smelled lovely and fresh. Some lovely touches including:... More

Thank you for taking the time to review, it is lovely to know that you enjoyed your time in Great Yarmouth. We have children ourselves and do try to provide items (toys, DVD's and cutlery) that can make the stay away from home a little easier. More

My fiancée and I had a 3 night stay at sandcastles guest house, and from the moment we arrived we knew it was a great place. Joanne is a very genuine, polite and friendly host and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The main priority for them was that we got the most... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this guest house and felt welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. It's location in Yarmouth is perfect and located close to the sea front. A permit is given for your car so you can park which was great. The cooked breakfast was fantastic and the little touches for our 4 year... More
