Exactly what I would expect for £25/night. Sure there are minor issues, the kettle won't fit under the tap etc.. but the hotel is clean and the staff are polite and welcoming and that's what's important.

We stopped for just two-days on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th September and thought that this Hotel / Guest House was a little gem. Out of season of course but we were offered the choice of two rooms by the owner and both were clean and tidy, Anyway we opted for room 14 which was bright and cheerful with a... More

When I checked in I was given a nice enough room however they changed me too a room that was out in the back yard. The room was small, stank and was dirty. The whole place is dingy and in desperate need of upgrading. I would never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone else. Very disappointed.

We had no issues on arrival and were shown to our rooms promptly, however the young girl seemed quite shy which made the experience a bit awkward, and may be improved by having someone slightly more outgoing. The rooms itself exceeded expectations and was spacious, clean and had everything we needed provided. It could do with an upgrade (painting, etc)... More

very good value for money for August, peak season. Good breakfast and the staff very accommodating. Very clean. Very near the pier and beach. I cant help thinking that those making derogatory remarks are wanting 4 star for nothing. This is a good budget b and b with lovely staff who would rectify and problems. (What is wrong with a... Me and my boyfriend booked this hotel as pictures online looked pretty and just right for 55 a night. Basic and cheerful BUT when we arrived we were shown to our room by a 14 year old girl, doors broken, dark hallways, mould in bathroom. ALSO we found a huge stain on our bedding which looked like and smelt like... More

at the end of the day if you want top luxery you can't expect it at these prices. The room we had was clean and tidy, yes decor was dated but so what. The ladies were more than helpful and breakfast was fine and cooked to order. Couldn't be any closer to the beach and I did manage to park... More

Stayed for 1 night over bank holiday. Nice clean hotel and room was great. Great price and only 10 second walk to pier. Would defo stay again. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Both members of staff I saw were very friendly and polite and helpful.
