just had a 5 day holiday with shearings and thoroughly enjoyed our break, the staff were all very friendly and helpful the food was first class with a good selection and our room was clean and comfortable, the entertainment was very good add this to an excellent driver mike and it all added up to an excellent holiday.
I stayed for a long weekend with my mum. From 18th to 21st may. The food was excellent. And the service too. A good clean hotel with brilliant entertainment and day trips. The staff are very polite and helpful. The coach driver also was very helpful and has a great sense off humour. I plan to go again as soon...

My wife and myself stayed for a weekend ( May 12) Our room was on the second floor and we had a sea view, that was all that was available on booking. This room cost us an extra £36.00.
The room wasn`t worth it. The floor was so noisy and creaky. The people below us must have suffered as we did,our table...

Thank you for your comprehensive review on your recent stay. I have taken all of your comments on board and will be dealing with them to make improvements where necessary. Having just returned from a 5 day coach holiday by Shearings at the Carlton Hotel Gt Yarmouth, there was nothing we could fault in any way. We had a room on the third floor which was excellent, both in cleanliness and decor. The food in the dining room was superb, in fact every night was briliant both in the choice...
