We recently booked just one night at this hotel as we were spending a day at Great Yarmouth and and evening at the dog races with our friends. I couldn't believe the state of the rooms! Carpet ripped and not fitted! Dirty shower, torn bed sheets, mildew on the walls... the list goes on. Never ever again. Disgusting!!!

I never write reviews but this hotel was shocking thank god I got some of my money back...cold ain't the word....foisty.....damp.....side plates for breakfast...no vegetarian option......its was not good and we booked it because it had a licienced bar.....well no beer bar not open.....not worth the money at all...feeling so disappointed as it was our wedding anniversary...waste of money.

We had a great stay at this hotel, the price was cheap and service outstanding. We were met by the owner Peter in the car park, who showed us to our rooms and checked everything was okay. We were able to check-in at 11am. Had a big full English breakfast, and the food / drinks were quality not the cheap... More

The Arona is in a pleasant location near the beach and within walking distance of the town. Most of the staff were friendly and courteous. The bedrooms were pleasant and the beds were comfortable. However in the six nights that we stayed the bins were emptied and toilet roll replaced but no room cleaning was undertaken. Access to the upper... More

rooms were unclean. Food was sandwich meat no roast meat at all served all week. The only freshly made meal was the meat pie .all other meals were awful. Bacon was see through and cereal stale, I had to ask for my toast to be done properly as it was white when it reached my table. We felt that the... More

Rude manager, rude foreign workers, food is disgraceful, rooms are dirty (curtains had blood on them, cramped and unspacious, shower didn't work and had hairs all over en suite) AWFUL!!! Would not recommend to anybody!!
